How it was made
For the skirt, I used a pattern for a child's cheerleader costume, and made it bigger. The top was made from just a basic shirt pattern, and I added the sailor collar. It was just a pretty simple costume.

How it turned out
I think it turned out well. Beka seemed to love it.
Halfway through the convention, Beka was sad that she hadn't found a Van. So we attached a sign to the front of her shirt, "Looking for Van". We ended up finding two Vans with the help of some other cosplayers.
She was sooo happy!
