Interlude In The Park

(Disclaimer : Just so you know, I dont own the rights to this anime or any of the
charcters. I am merely borrowing them to write a story. In case you might not like
how they are represented, I am trying to stick as true to the character personality's 
but will stretch them a bit to make the story a bit more interesting. So dont send bad 
email or sue me...cuz I dont got anything of value...)

Authors notes : I dont usually have notes in my stories but this one was the exception. I know
that theres a lil thing between Tai and Matt in Digital Monsters, bordering on homosexual 
feelings. I dont mind that one bit but personally, I think Tai and Sora would be a better
couple. Maybe its my afinity for the two that cause me to think that but its just my opinion.
Cant help that. ^^;; Oh and this Fic is dedicated to the one reviewer that said every fic I wrote
has a premise or idea thats been done to death before. Lets see them read this and say its been
done before. Mwahahahahaha!!! *evin grin* If you dont like it, blame it on "shaddeh", its because
of her that Ive tried to come up with the most off the wall story possible for the next
installment...Anyways on with the fic...


"Interlude In The Park. Part 1"


The sun rose up over the hills, signaling the start of another day for the digi-destined.
Though the table has been set for a peticular two. A school bell rang in the distance as
the shuffling of young feet can be heard. The school day has begun but Tai doesnt feel much
like learning. He just stares off to the side through the window, his thoughts trail off as
he wonders about Augumon and the rest. The teachers voice abruptly breaks his train of thought.


"Tai, pay attention, I wont ask you again", the teacher says firmly.

"Yes teacher", Tai replies as he his head spins around and he sits at attention.

'Stupid teachers, always bothering me', Tai thinks in the back of his mind.

The morning continues on uneventful, and the lunch bell finally rings, much to Tai's joy. He is
the first to exit the classroom, almost knocking over Matt as he darts down the hall. 

"Whoa there, chill out Tai. The food will still be there if you walk", Matt remarks as he 
bursts into laughter.

"Yeah well today just sucks, and Im hungry", Tai says grumpily.

"Wanna tell me? I am your best friend", Matt said cocking his head, "If you cant trust me, who
can ya trust."


Tai looks at Matt and smiled. He has always been his best friend, the person he could count on
the most. Though slightly uneasy about revealing his feelings to Matt, but there was a nagging
feeling telling him he should tell Matt. Tai stared down at the floor, scuffing his feet and
started to speak in a low tone.


"Um theres something on my mind and I dont know how to go about expressing it", Tai whispered.

"Come on Tai, spit it out", Matt said grinning.

"Well ever since we found out about the digimon and went to the digital plane. Ive had these
feelings for Sora", Tai spat out quickly.

"Oh little Tai is in love", Matt exclaimed as his grin turned into a sheepish smile.

"Matt dont you dare tell anyone", Tai pleaded.

"I promise Tai, dont freak out on me", Matt stated firmly, "Hey lets hurry to lunch we might
be able to get leftovers, if we're lucky."


So the two head off to the Cafeteria to meet up with everyone. Meanwhile across the lunch yard
a brooding Sora could be found, eating alone. She decided not to meet with anyone in the off
chance Tai might be present. Taking a small bite of her sandwich, the image of Tai face smiling
appeared and her heart sunk. How could she tell Tai how she felt? He would probably just laugh
at her. She was just not a girly girl like most boys liked. Sora just sigh as she contined to
chew, oblivious to the sinister glowing eyes in the bushes behind her.


"So you want to be able to tell him how you feel huh", the thing muttered to itself. 


Suddenly the creature leapt out of the bushes. Sora jumped back surprised, and screamed. The
thing was short and had angel-like wings, one arm looked like a crossbow and there was a 
quiver if arrows strapped to its back.


"W,who are you", Sora stammered.

"I am Cupiomon, a love digimon", Cupiomon replied smiling.

"Cupiomon", Sora said to herself.


Cupiomon charged up his crossbow and raised it at Sora. She put her hands up hoping the digimon
would rethink about shooting her. There was a streak of light and Augumon stood before her.
Augumon growled at Cupiomon menacingly as the digi-destined appeared one by one with their 
respective digimon. 


"Leave her alone", Matt yelled.

"Yeah", Izzy added.

"You have no business picking on anyone", Joe said.

"Especially not her", Tai said as he stood next to Augumon.


Sora just looked up at Tai. He had come to her rescue, she thought to herself. She stood up 
slowly and smiled as Tai smiled back. Cupiomon was looking upset as his plans for her had
been interrupted. He flew up into the air and his wings started to glow white. The wind picked
up and everyone shielded their eyes. Cupiomon opened his mouth to speak.


"Cupid's Love Zone", Cupiomon screamed as the earth started to quake. 


A sort of hole appeared below Sora and Tai. The gang ran to catch them but it was too late.
They fell into the blackness and the hole sealed itself, leaving everyone perplexed. Then 
turned their attention to the still hovering Cupiomon. 


"What did you do to them", Kari demanded.

"Yeah bring them back", Mimi screamed. 

"Not until my work is finished, until then they will be trapped in my Love Zone", Cupiomon said
as he vanished in a streak of pink light. 


The digi-destined formed a circle and conversed. How could locate this love zone to get their
friends back?

Meanwhile, Tai and Sora are falling through a swirling vortex of some sort. Finally ending up in
a world unlike any they had seen before. It was almost cartoonish in appearance. Mishapen trees
with leaves that looked like pink, red and white heart. The ground was covered in pink grass
and multicoloured flowers as far as the eye could see. Suddenly a face appeared over the 
horizon. It was Cupiomon with a pleased with himself look.

	"Welcome to my Love Zone, here you can express your feelings freely without worry of
others interference", Cupiomon said, smirking.

	"Let us go, Cupiomon, you dont have a say in whether or not we express our feelings", Tai
screamed at Cupiomon.

	"Come on, I know you two have feelings for each other, express them", Cupiomon replied
almost saddened at what is transpiring. 

	"I dont want to hurt Tai, Cupiomon, if he knew the truth, he wouldnt care so much about
me and forget I exist", Sora yelled as she dropped to her knees.

	"I..I wouldnt forget you Sora, come on, tell me. Please", Tai pleaded.

	"You promise you wont get upset", Sora asked, still on her knees.

	"I do promise", Tai said with a smile.

	"Alright then, but your sister and I, have been, well seeing each other", Sora said as
she looked down at her shoes, "and I really like you alot but I really like her alot too."

	"What? No way, my sister Kari", Tai said in shock.

	"Yeah, we have been kinda fooling around while you werent home or over at my house", Sora
replied meekly.

	"Oh well thats great", Tai remarked with a grin.

	"Huh? How is that great", Sora asked, puzzled.

	"We can finally have a threesome with my sister. Ive been waiting for an opportunity like
this to happen", Tai replied as his grin got bigger, and he squeezed his hands into fists as he
spoke.

	"Oh my god, Tai. Dont tell me, you and Kari...do things", Sora inquired with a bewildered
look.

	"Of course, you cant share a room with your sister without starting to think things like
that after awhile", Tai stated firmly.

Sora was taken aback by what, she couldnt believe, she was hearing. Tai and Kari have been doing
things with each other and she never suspected this. How could they, Kari and Tai are siblings.
The idea of it was revolting yet slightly intriguing to Sora. While all this was taking place, 
Cupiomon was hiding out of sight, listening to the entire conversation. He smiled at the thoughts
that were swimming around in his mind. So it will take bringing his sister here to bring them
together, he thought to himself. Then just as quickly, Cupiomon vanished back into the real
world (and not the MTV Show, hehe.)

The digi-destined were still conversing about what to do, but hadnt come up with a solid plan on
how to rescue their friends. Izzy was typing away on his laptop, trying to located them with no
luck at all. Matt wanted to just roam around the digital world to find them, and Joe, well Joe
just didnt want to do anything dangerous. Suddenly something appeared behind them in a swirling
of light and wind. It was Cupiomon, he had come back, but for what purpose. 

	"Where's our friends", Matt demanded.

	"Yeah, tell us where they are", Mimi chimed in afterwards.

	"Ill tell you, if you would answer a question of mine", Cupiomon replied with a sly look.

	"Fine, what is it you want to know", Matt inquired.

	"Who among you is name Kari", Cupiomon asked back.

	"I am", a voice said as a small young girl stepped up.

	"Excellent", Cupiomon said softly.

	"Now tell us where Tai and Sora are", Matt yelled.

	"You will know soon enough", Cupiomon laughed as he and Kari were sucked into what looked
like a whirlwind, similiar to the one Tai and Sora vanished in.

	"Damn it", Matt growled as he clenched his fists in anger.

Suddenly a light appeared above Tai and Sora. Then a small figure fell to the ground between them
but they couldnt see who it was until the light finally died down. 

	"It's Kari", Tai exclaimed.

	"It is you, what are you doing here", Sora remarked, flabbergasted.

	"I dont know, one minute someone asked for me, then I was suddenly here the next", Kari
replied, confused.

	"Cupiomon, why did you bring her here", Tai screamed.

	"Simple, if you are to express your feelings, she must be here to help you", Cupiomon's
voice echoed through the trees like a breeze.

	"Should we give him what he wants, Sora", Tai asked.

	"I dont think so, it feels like we are being forced, and I dont like to be forced to do 
things", Sora stated firmly.

Thats the end of part 1, the fic kinda ran long but I want to keep it going, so one of the other
anime stories will have to be cut from the lineup, not sure which one but dont worry, I will just
include it in Volume 2...Anyways, you want to see what happens to Sora, Tai and Kari? Check it
