August - Ranma 1/2
It's not easy being a teenage martial artist named Ranma Saotome, but it's even worse when your martial artist father, Genma, takes you from home at an early age to go on a decade-long training mission to China. He doesn't speak a word of Chinese, and yet he insists on bringing you to the cursed training grounds known as Jusenkyo, where falling into one of many springs instantly tuns you into whoever- or whatever- drowned there last. And then, the two of you have this little ACCIDENT... From now on, a splash of cold water with turn your father into a giant panda, while you... well, you turn into a red-haired (and incredibly well-built) female version of yourself. Hot water will reverse the effect, but only until the next time. What's a half-guy, half-girl to do?

August - Inuyasha
The day is modern Tokyo in the year 1996. On the day of her fifteenth birthday, Higurashi Kagome is drawn into another world through a mysterious old well in her family's temple shrine. She is thrust back in time to the Sengoku Jidai Era (age of the warring states) 400 years in the past where demons cause havoc on the world in search of the powerful jewel that grants demons power beyond imagination, the Shikon no Tama (Four-Souled jewel). Kagome accidentally unleashes a half-demon, half-human who was sealed with a magical arrow to a tree by the name of Inuyasha. From there the legend of the girl who crossed time to meet the sealed boy begins...

July - Weiss Kreuz
Aya, Ken, Youji, Omi. Four young men who work as florists by day and assassins by night. Weiss Kreuz ("White Cross" in German) is an on-going story about four young men who are part of a group called "Weiss" based on a seiyuu j-pop group of the same name made up of Koyasu Takehito (Fujimiya Aya), Seki Tomokazu (Hidaka Ken), Miki Shinichirou (Kudou Youji), and Yuuki Hiro (Tsukiyono Omi). Several albums and drama albums later, an anime was released in late 1997. July - Marmalade Boy
Marmalade boy is about Miki, a girl who only wanted a normal family. Her life is turned upside down when her parents return from a trip to Hawaii to announce they are getting divorced, to swap partners with a couple they met and fell in love with. They buy a big house and live together... all six of them. When Miki meets Yuu, the son of the other couple, she doesn't want to go back to the way things were, or else risk losing Yuu! But does her long time crush/ best boy friend, Ginta, like the sound of that? *sounds like she just wrote something from the back of the book, but she really just made it up* An 8 book manga by Wataru Yoshizumi, translated the right (to left) way by Tokyopop.
