 1997, 1999 1 movie 90 minutes fantasy/adventure SYNOPSIS: Beyond magic, beyond science, there is DRAGOON! When the young swordsman, Sedon, finds the beautiful May unconscious and naked in the snow, he has no idea she's the product of an evil experiment. Nor is he aware that ruthless soldiers have been ordered to track her down and bring her back. But soon he discovers just how important May is to an evil plan that involves treacherous royalty, bloodthirsty killers and a devastating power within May herself. A world where the only thing more powerful than magic is love. STORY: 8 - DRAGOON jumps straight into the action from the start. CHARACTERS: 8.3 - Sedon resembles a boy named Parn way too much... ANIMATION: 9 - Beautifully drawn, DRAGOON scores high here. ENJOYMENT: 8.5 - DRAGOON has the makings of a hit, but is cramped into a mere 90 minutes; not nearly enough to fully develop the rich storyline. Too bad, a sequel would have meant a higher score...
