Dragonball Z is after Dragonball, and was only called Z so that it would seperate Dragonball from this series on TV. This has more action in it. More villians. For as Dragonball had more of a comedy. This still keeps its comedy though..as they will just add it around the actual scenes. This show was a major hit in japan. Although it had lots of gore and violence and cussing. when coming to america, FUNimation bought it and turned it into an american kids show. Although, teenagers and adults, we mad about this and so FUNimation started releasing the UNCUT versions. The story is about a young man named Son Goku, with his son, Son Gohan. Them and their friends from the old series with some new. The evil has grown!!!
