Aya Brea is the main character from the series Parasite Eve on Playstation, made by Squaresoft.
The first part of the story takes place in New York City, Christmas Eve, 1997. Aya goes on a date to an opera, when all hell decides to break loose. The being known as "Eve" was "born" on that night. She took over the body of Melissa Peirce, an up and coming Actress, who played the lead role in the opera. Eve was waiting for the right moment to take over Melissa, waiting in the kidney that had been transplanted into her body when she was a young child. Aya finds out later on that the kidney that was transplanted into Melissa was that of her sister, Maya. Eve had broken into the hospital, and into the sperm bank to steal, well what else? (Being sarcastic, the answer is obvious.) After doing so, she became pregnant with the "Ultimate Being".(We've all heard something else being called the Ultimate Being someplace or another ~~;.) Eve decides to give birth at an ominous place of choice, the Statue of Liberty. Aya, thinking Eve had been beaten took one little thing to forget about, the Ultimate Being. Aya battled the Ultimate Being onboard the navy's ship. (If I recall it was called the Enterprise, can't remember though.)After blowing the ship, and the being sky high, everyone was at peace again, Eve and the Being were dead.
Parasite Eve 2 takes place three years after the New York incident, Aya is now working for the F.B.I.'s M.I.S.T. unit. A group of people who hunt down the Mitochondrial demons, and monsters. (Who didn't see that coming?)Aya is sent to the Akropolis Tower (Think of it as a giant clothing store with other stores in it.)to investigate a monster siting. Aya meets up with Number 9 (Don't ask.) who happenes to be yet another Mitochondrial monster hunter, of derranged proportions, who also insists in trying to kill Aya. After Akropolis Tower blows up, (well tops few floors) Aya reports back to H.Q.. Aya is then sent to Dryfield, Nevada to investigate strange cattle killings (hmmm.... and I thought it was the martians all along. Damn...) and strange creature sitings. There, Aya meets up with Mr. Gary Douglas, the only person left in the town who didn't run away. With his dog he lives with his dog, Flint. Aya also meets up with a P.I. from L.A. named Kyle Madigan. Aya finds out that there is an old militia shelter up in the hills that was bought by some corporation. (Dun dun dun.) Aya and Kyle head up there a short time afterward, and what do they find out? Well, the corporation has a hidden research facility down there. (Hey, sound like the Umbrella Co.?). The facility has another "facility" within it called Neo A.R.K.. Aya and Kyle find something mind blowing on Basment Level 3, Eve. Much to everyones surprise, Eve looks EXACTLY like Aya. Well, the Golem's (remember how I told you about No. 9? they look like him.) start to attack the room where they are. Kyle helped Aya and Eve escape. Aya and Eve escape the place, but low and behold No. 9 takes off with Eve, leaving Aya helpless, as she goes to leave the Facility to get back-up, she is attacked by Golems, and a whole pack of them. Luckily, the military showed up in time to save her hide. After they clean up the mess. Aya head's back into the Facility, and for the final showdown. No. 9 and Kyle (your probably saying "what the hell?!" right now.) plan on using Eve to create the "Ultimate Being". Well, shortly afterward, the President (yes, he looks a little like Billy boy.) gives the green light for the use of the S.D.I. Experimental Satelite weapon. (BIG missle like thingies!)After blowing up Dryfield and the "ultimate being" like thing, Kyle admits he was making No. 9 think he was on his side and tells you to hurry and rescue Eve. As you go to rescue Eve, well, the creat ure thingy basicly "swallows" Eve and thus creating Eve into the Ultimate Being. After defeating her, Aya and Eve drop into the stuff below, and well, they live somehow, the military comes to the rescue again. After being saved, (theres a big follow up but I'm not going into it.) Aya and Eve are at the Museum of Natural History in New York (Yep, they're back over there.) where Aya passes Eve off as her younger sister (not far from the truth, they look alike) and they thought Kyle had disappeared after the incident. They hear some footsteps and look in the direction and see the silohette of Kyle standing there.
