Mythology*: In Roman mythology Mars was the god of War and victory, and is the equal to the Greek god Ares. His power was based upon fire, and I am assuming that is the reason for Sailor Mars’ element.

Rei says this to transform into Sailor Mars. This was given to her by Luna when Sailor Moon was in trouble... and of course Mars saved her. She is the third senshi to get her wand.
Fire Soul (Mars Fire Ignite)
Sailor Mars says this to generate a large amount of fire, that she blasts at an enemy. Mars used this throughout the series, even when she learned more powerful attacks. She's occasionally hit some of the Sailors with this attack too, and they got fried ^_^
Aku Ryo Tai San! * (I call upon the power of Mars, Fireballs Charge!)
Sailor Mars says this when she throws an anti-evil scroll at an opponent. The scroll paralyzes the opponent, making them more susceptible to attacks. However, this isn't an attack she received as Sailor Mars; it's something she learned as a priestess of her shrine. She even attacked Usagi with it at the temple on her first appearance, she thought Usagi was an evil being…^_^

Sailor Mars says this to combine her anti-evil scroll and her fire. This produces a bird, that can be directed at an opponent. She only used this awesome attack a few times.
Mars Firestorm Flash
Sailor Mars says this to create a continuous stream of fire. I believe she used it in the Sailor MoonR Movie against Fiore.

Rei says this to transform into Super Sailor Mars. In the series Pegasus gives her this power, and in the manga she looks deep insider of herself and finds more power.
Mars Flame Sniper (Mars Flame Shooter!)
Super Sailor Mars says this to generate a flame arrow. She can shoot it at an opponent. Mars also has good aim, so with this it is deadly as an other fire attack.
