The Backdraft Group shoots a charged particle beam at the ZBC's Ultrasaurus, but they block the beam with a shield. The ZBC refuses to be pushed around by the Backdraft and the Royal CUp is not cancelled. Meanwhile, the Blitz Team wins another battle. Vega wins another one too, and he's ordered to take a break. Alteil hates Sarah and commands the Fuma Team to attack the Berserk Fury with three Geno Saurers they found near the site where the Fury was dug up. Harry Champ doesn't want to fight battles anymore, but instead find Leena so he can ask her to marry him.

The Doc decides to send Leena and Jamie to go fight the Saber Fang Team and Bit and Brad to go fight the Fluegel Team. They only need two more wins to find out where the finish line is. Leena and Jamie find the Saber Fang Team, but the judge calls them the Fuzzy Pandas which causes their command systems to freeze. The judge says that the Blitz Team is the winner. Dr. Layon attacks the Hovercargo in his Whale King, and he and the Doc get into a fight. Bit, in the Schneider, and Brad start their fight with the Fluegel Team. Brad makes a bet with Naomi that if he wins then they have to be partners in the next Royal Cup.

Then the Hovercargo is attacked by Layon. They trade shots and Bit comes upon the Fluegel team. Bit and Leon get into a brawl and Brad makes a deal with Naomi. If he wins, Naomi has to fight as partners in the next battle. Brad and Naomi start to fight, and Layon and the Doc are still fighting. Jamie turns into the Wild Eagle, and the judge sets up another battle between the Blitz Team and the Berserk Fury, which drills through a rock and walks into the battlefield. The battle starts and the Wild Eagle is sliced through by the Fury's blades. Vega gets ready to fight with Leena, but then three Geno Saurers appear. They shoot the judge and surround Vega, powering up their charged particle beams. Leena runs away while the Doc yells at her to get out of there.

The Geno Saurers fire and Leena trips on a rock. The explosion draws closer to her and the Champ Team jump in front of her in their Iron Kongs to try to protect her, but Layon pushes them aside when he crashes his Whale King in front of Leena. His Whale King is destroyed by the explosion, and afterwards Leena looks for him. Harry holds up a ring in her general direction, but his robots shake him out of his trance. Leena finds Layon and he tells her about Ultimate X Zoids. They are Zoids that have permanently bound Organoids. They learn from their battles and are much stronger than usual Zoids. They can also only be piloted by certain chosen pilots, like Vega and Bit. While he is telling her this, it's shown that Vega survived the blast without a scratch, and takes out the three Geno Saurers with a charged particle beam of his own. Sarah orders Alteil to leave the Backdraft, since she knows that he was behind the attack on the Fury. Layon is carried to an ambulance, while yelling that he'll get revenge. The Doc watches him go.

The battle between Bit and Brad and the Fluegel Team is still going on. Brad finally takes out Naomi, and Bit and Leon kepp charging at each other with their blades. The Zero Schneider wants to use the seven blade attack, and Bit says it's okay. The two Ligers charge one last time. The Zero Schneider flips all seven of its blades forward and energy glows all around the Zoid. The Blade Liger puts its two blades forward and energy glows around it too. They jump into the air and slice into each other. The two Ligers land, but only Bit remains standing. Now the Blitz Team has won five battles and can go to the finish line. However, Vega's already on his way there.
