As usual, the Blitz Team is battling another team. This time it's Leena in the Dibison against the Viper Team. Leena shoots down all the Stealth Vipers except for one, but then she is attacked by a mysterious Zoid. The Dibison is taken down with one hit. Her attacker is the Elephander, a huge Zoid with excellent offensive and defensive capabilities that belongs to the Backdraft Group. The ZBC tries to shoot the Elephander, but it disappears from their radar. The battle is cancelled and a Backdraft officer, Captain Stigma Stoller, tells the pilot of the Elephander, Sanders, that his next battle will be against the Blitz Team.

Leena gets back to the Blitz Team's base, and says she lost. She wants to trade in her damaged Dibison for a new Zoid, and for Jamie to avenge her in the next battle. Meanwhile, in a Backdraft Whale King, Sanders wants Stoller to pilot the Elephander, but Stoller says he's retired and refuses. The next day, the Blitz Team's rematch against the Viper Team is about to begin. The terrain is very rocky, and this will give the Viper Team an advantage. The Blitz Team is using Bit, Brad, and Jamie in his Pteras to battle. Just then the dark judge arrives and the Backdraft Group takes over the battle. Stoller wants the Blitz Team and the Viper Team to fight against the Elephander, but the Vipers refuse. The Elephander, piloted by Sanders using a voice control system, takes out the Vipers and the Blitz Team is forced to battle. If they lose, then the Backdraft will take all their Zoids, but if they win, then they get will get five times the normal amount of prize money.

The Blitz Team attcks the Elephander, but the Elephander is too powerful, using its shield to block shots. The Elephander then uses its strike iron claw, and grabs the Liger Zero and starts to pull it in towards its sharp tusks. Jamie fires some missiles to try to save Bit, but the Elephander puts up its shield, and then takes Jamie out. It looks like the Liger is about to be speared, but Brad manages to shoot the Elephander and save Bit just in time. The Elephander attacks with lasers, and damages the Blitz Team's Zoids. Bit notices that the Elephander is very strong, but isn't fast, so he heads back to the Hovercargo to transform into Zero Jager. Brad though, takes a beating from the Elephander.

Bit finishes transforming into Zero Jager and goes to help Brad. When Stoller sees how fast the Liger has become he tells Sanders to switch to manual control since he can't compete against that speed. The Elephander shoots at the Liger, but the Liger runs up the side of a cliff and then jumps towards the Elephander and takes it out with a strike laser claw. The Blitz Team wins and gets a lot of money, Jamie cries because his Pteras is damaged again, and Stoller decides to come out of retirement.
