I really liked Harry Champ ever since he made his appearance in the beginning of the show. However, a lot of people don't like him.
Harry's a good guy, really, although he does have his faults. His purpose in the show is to add comedy and lighten things up a little. He also contributes to the plot of the show. If it wasn't for Harry, Bit would have never made a good rival out of Jack Sisco and try to fight more seriously; the Blitz Team would never had gotten that particle beam cannon for free; the Blitz Team would never had gotten all that money so easily; the Blitz Team would have had a harder time finding the Liger Zero after it was stolen without following the particles left on their Zoids after Harry fired his particle beam gun at them; and the ZBC would have had a harder time tricking the Backdraft Group if Harry hadn't been used as bait.
I'm sure Harry was important to the show in many more ways besides those, and his hilarious attempts at trying to get Leena to be his girlfriend were very amusing. I know that a lot of people think Bit and Leena should be a couple and that Harry gets in the way, but Leena really doesn't show affection to either of them in a romantic way.
On fanfiction.net, there are many fics that couple Bit with Leena and sometimes bash Harry and there are ones that just outright bash him. That's just downright mean. I know that Harry fans, like myself, don't like these kind of fics. Harry doesn't deserve to be treated like that. He's a good character, plus he's really funny. There's enough anti-Harry stuff on the internet already, and it's time for some Pro-Harry stuff.
