Madison and Li walk out of school together.

Madison: It's nice to have Meilin around again. Isn't it?

Li: Mm-hm. You know what, as much as I hate to admit it, yeah. I actually miss her, when she went back home. Meilin is a really good friend. I just hope she knows what she's getting herself into.

Madison: Meilin can handle herself.

Li: Yeah, I guess you're right.

They all walk across the bridge while Li and Sakura start sensing Clow reed's presence.

At Li's house, Meilin and Li are seen talking in the balcony.

Meilin: None of this turned out the way you thought it would. I mean with the Clow cards and everything.

Li: No, not really. But it's alright.

Meilin: Well, you may not be the master of the Clow cards but... I'm proud of you.

Li: Really?

Meilin: You're lucky,

Li: Why?

Meilin: Well, because you're needed.

Li: What do you mean?

Meilin: You're a descendant of Clow Reed. You have magic running through your veins, and no matter what happens of who the master is, you always have a role to play in the history of the Clow cards. (grunts) It's a big responsibility, Li.

Li: sighs

Meilin: (slurps the tea) Thanks for the tea.

Wei: Where are you going?

Meilin: To Madison's, I'm sleeping over there tonight.

Li: Meilin, wait, your needed too.

Wei: Have a good night.

Li: Look, I'm sorry I never tell you that.

Meilin: No, you don't.

Meilin runs off quickly while crying with her head down.
