Seiyuu: Sugiyama Kazuko
Name Origin: "Boko" probably comes from one of the following: "bokoboko" means the sound of hitting something hollow and "bokoru" is slang for beating someone up.

Purpose: Bokomon acts as a sort of encyclopedia for the kids, being in possession of a guidebook which tells about the Legendary Warriors, Spirits, Digital World, etc.

Name Origin: Patapata is the sound of flapping in Japanese.

Name Origin: "Nee" comes from "nebokeru" which means to be disoriented after waking up.

Purpose: Currently, Neemon is merely comic relief.

Worm the Trailmon
Seiyuu: Yanagisawa Eiji
Name Origin: Worm: Any of various crawling insect larvae, such as a grub or a caterpillar, having a soft elongated body.
Purpose: Worm carried all of the Chosen Children except Kouji to the Digital World for the first time. He participates in the Trailmon race in episode 18. In episode 19 he drops the kids off in the village of the Burgemon.

Angler the Trailmon
Seiyuu: Kamibeppu Hitoshi
Name Origin: "Angler" comes from "Anglerfish" which is a marine fish of the order Lophiiformes or Pediculati, having a long dorsal fin ray that is suspended over the mouth and that serves as a lure to attract prey.
Purpose: Angler is the train that took Kouji to the Digital World. He also participates in the Trailmon race in episode 18. In episode 31, Junpei, Izumi, and Tomoki come across a rotting, old, and dying Angler in a Trailmon graveyard. They try their hardest to fix him up, but he still glows with red energy and dissolves... leaving a new, shiny version of himself behind. The kids are ... displeased, and take a ride on this Angler towards the Rose of Venus. He reveals the Evil Hybrids had him carry something in a large crate to deliver for Cherubimon.

Franken the Trailmon
Seiyuu: Yoshikazu Nagano
Name Origin: Presumably a reference to Frankenstein.
Purpose: Franken carried Kouji around the Digital World. He is also in the Trailmon race in episode 18. In episode 20, he dumps the kids off at the entrance to the Dark Continent.

Mole the Trailmon
Seiyuu: Houru Bi
Name Origin: Mole: Any of various small insectivorous mammals of the family Talpidae, usually living underground and having thickset bodies with light brown to dark gray silky fur, rudimentary eyes, tough muzzles, and strong forefeet for burrowing.
Purpose: Mole is the only Trailmon that won't carry passengers because he is very ticklish. However, he does let Izumi ride him during the race.

Buffalo the Trailmon
Seiyuu: Tomoyuki Shimura
Name Origin: Buffalo: A large shaggy-haired brown bison.
Purpose: He laughs a lot and nearly runs over the kids in episode five-- however they take a ride on him later, in episode 17. He later bullies poor Worm during the race.

Kettle the Trailmon
Seiyuu: Sakaguchi Daisuke
Name Origin: ?
Purpose: Kettle helps the kids-- and Seraphimon's digitama-- escape from the evil human-spirit Digimon. However, Grottomon and Arbormon spy on him and trace his route back to the kids. He also takes part in the race.

Raccoon Dog the Trailmon
Seiyuu: Ishikawa Masaaki
Name Origin: Tanuki (Also knows as a Racoon Dog): a kind of Asian animal that's related to the dog family, but has a mask like a raccoon.
Purpose: He is in the Trailmon race in episdoe 18.

Name Origin: Dark.
Purpose: He convinces Takuya to board him and takes him back to the Real World at the end of episode 21, but then returns him to the Digital World in episode 22.

Name Origin: Ball: Any of various rounded, movable objects.
Purpose: The kids are shown riding Ball in the beginning of the first Frontier movie.
