• Their are almost 4000 different types of frogs around the world.
• Frogs can jump 20 times their own body length
• Frogs shed their skin regurly, and then eat it!
• Most frogs live between five and fifteen years, one actually made it to fourty!
• Frogs are an indicator of a healthy enviornment, if there is a healthy frog population, the enviornment is good. But if frogs dissapear, or mutate, that is a sure sign of a problem!
• Some frogs can freeze solid during hibernation.
• Frogs date back to the age of the dinosaurs.
• The worlds biggest frog is a goliath frog which can get almost a foot long and weighs as much as a house cat.
• The worlds smallest frog is the gold frog that only gets 1cm long or about 3/8 of an inch!

• Chinese people see the 'toad in the moon' rather then the man in the moon.

• Frogs are one of the most versitle creatures on earth, they should be a respected and cherish part of our enviornment. Many frogs are dissapearing worldwide because of human pollution and contamination. They are important to maintaining balance in the enviornment, without them, our world will degrade even faster.
