Here, the main character is a thief named Zidane. The rest of his crew consists of a princess named Dagger (originally named Garnet), a knight named Steiner, a black mage named Vivi, and a whole bunch of other people.
The battle system here isn't bad. You get magic, summons, and a whole bunch of stuff. Each person belongs in a certain class, so has their own individual unique magic or techniques, which is good. You aren't stuck doing the same things over and over. As you play on, you get to do things such as forge two or more weapons or armor together to make new and more powerful ones. As well, each character has there own little stories that you get to do.
As well, the graphics are great. Especially the movies. Well, the graphics are really good for Playstation. Now that Playstation 2 is out, there's no comparison. The newer system is obviously superior, as will the graphics of the games.
Still this game is well worth your time to play.
