This is just for fun ^^ I may not be much of a romanticist-type person, but there are certain pairings I kind of like ^___^
Well, we all know that Tea likes Yugi ^____^ Thing is, I'm never sure whether it's just his Yami that she has the actual crush on or if it's Yugi as well. I think in the manga lil Yugi has a bit of a crush on her ^^ Both Tea and Yugi and Tea and Yami Yugi are kinda cute couples in my book, but I'm not an avid supporter of either of them ^^;;;
XD. These two always seem to be at each other's throats! Any romantic relationship between them would certainly be interesting. I disagree with the people who say that Tea only tolerates Joey because he's Yugi's friend. I think she genuinely cares about him as a friend ^^ Not a big supporter of this pairing either. It doesn't work for me, but I guess it is kinda cute ^^
I never could imagine these two caring about each other in any kind of romantic way, since they're always arguing as well, but hey maybe Tristan teases her because he likes her, ya know? XD
Awwww . . . sweet lil Bakura ^____^ I have a hard time picturing him with Tea, but maybe that's just because I like him with Mai better XD. Or maybe he and Tea would not be compatible. Hehehe.
Ummm, okay, I reaallllllllly do not see this one happening XD. Yami Bakura and Tea?! I don't think so. . . . It is waaaay cute to think of Yami B being in love, but somehow I don't think he'd pick Tea. ^__~;; I guess you never know tho, do you? If anyone comes up with a really believable Yami BxTea fic, I'll read it!
I like this one ^_____^ Since Marik has repented in my stories, he seems to get along well with all the other cast members. I think he'd probably be pretty compatible with most any of the gals (excluding Ishizu, of course, LOL), and maybe especially Tea. ^^ I dunno . . . but they're cuute together!! Yes.
Well, Duke's repented too, and let's see. . . . He and Tea might not be too bad for each other. Can't really say much here, tho, as I don't know Duke very well ^^;; Havta wait till Battle Ship to get a better analysis of his character.
Ummm, no. XD If Weevil cleaned up his act, then maybe. Of course, he'd have to do a whooooole bunch to get Tea to ever believe he'd really changed! . . . He did kinda pay some attention to Tea in the episodes where he dueled Joey, which was interesting ^^;;
He's an arrogant guy, but at least he plays fair ^^ Don't know if he'd jibe well with Tea, tho. He seems like the type who'd flirt with lots of gals, and I don't think Tea would put up with that XD
Ummmmm . . . somehow I'm not seein' these two as a couple, either; nor do I think Yami Yugi would be a good match. ^^;;; One never knows, tho. I actually think Yami Yugi might work better than Yugi, but I doubt Joey would like the idea of either his best friend or his best friend's ancient ancestor dating his sister! LOL!! Movin' on . . .
Well, so far on the American version of the show, Serenity obviously only considers Tristan a close friend. ^^;;; They are kinda cute together, but it's hard for me to think of who Serenity might be best matched with since I don't know a whole lot about her.

I know Duke is vying for her affections, but as of now I know absolutely nothing about whether she returns them or not ^^;;; She probably considers Duke to just be a friend as well. To me, Serenity really doesn't seem ready for any sort of romance XD
Serenity and Marik
I like this one too ^_____^ Don't ask me why. Of course remember that I always write and RP Marik as a good guy ^^;; Anyway, at the moment I'm actually doing a story involving these two. It's not romantic, of course, but I think the interaction between them is very cute and that a close friendship could develop ^^
Serenity and Yami Bakura
Ummmmm . . . in some weird way, I like this pairing too ^^;;;; For my reasons, you can refer back to the original Seto Kaiba Pairings section ^^
Serenity and Weevil
Ummm, I doubt it ^^;; And no way would Joey allow it! LOL
Serenity and Rex
For some reason, I think Serenity might like Rex ^^ After all, I'm sure he'd bend over backwards to make a good impression on a female, and maybe she would see through to his heart and sense that he really is a good person despite the arrogance XD
Mai and Yugi
I kinda don't think so ^^;;; Mai and Yami Yugi would probably work better, if at all XD Yugi and his Yami were so cute trying to win Mai's starchips back for her, but I don't really think that's proof of romance ^^;;;
Mai and Joey
I believe this couple is officially established in the fandom, and admittedly, they are cute together ^___^ They like to tease each other back and forth, but they always come through for each other when they really need it ^^ Who can forget how sweet Mai was in giving Joey her card in the Duelist Kingdom Finals? And of course there's the Virtual Reality Trilogy, which has perhaps the most abundance of Mai/Joey moments available in the U.S. ^^ The cutest "shippery" scene has to be when Mai throws her arms around Joey and cries, "You did it!" :)
UPDATE: Episode #80, the one where Mai duels the Hollywood celebrity, is also chock-full of Mai/Joey moments! It's an absolute must-see for any fan of this pairing! ^____^ And it's way cuute! Mai tries to explain why she helped Joey at Duelist Kingdom, Joey stands up for Mai in front of the jerky dude, and then later catches her when the dude is too stupid to do anything when Mai's clutching the flagpole!! I swear, this is one of my favorite episodes! =3 Even for those not interested in the pairing, I think it should be fun ^^ Especially for fans of both characters ^^ Mai is at her best here, and Joey as well!
While I do like this couple, there are a couple of other guys I like Mai with as well ^^;;;
Mai and Tristan

Cuuuuteness ^_______^ Another couple I like! I especially like in the Panik episodes when Bakura actually speaks to her ^^ True, he doesn't say a whole lot and he only talks about Yugi and the duel, but still he talked to her! ^^ I think she'd like his sweet innocence because most of the guys she's met up with in the past were probably big-time jerks XD If I ever did write a story that wound up being romantic, this is probably the pairing I would feature ^^
Mai and Yami Bakura

Mai and Marik
For some reason, I like this one too ^____^ Just a little bit, tho, and the reason why I do is totally weird XD I got my little figures of these two and held them both up and decided they looked cute together. LOL. On a different, more serious note: In my story Stolen Memories, Mai is the only one who hears Marik's disembodied spirit telling her that she can get everyone safely out of the burning warehouse ^^ It was a cute, short, sweet scene, and I wrote it even before I was playing with my figures ^___~ Yeah, I like this pairing ^^
Mai and Weevil
I don't think they'd care for each other at all! LOL. Sorry, Weevil fans, but I'm not sure who would be compatible with him! Maybe a female version of himself XD
Mai and Rex
Call me crazy, but I think Rex has a crush on her ^^ Watch his actions during the scenes before they duel in the episode Journey to the Duelist Kingdom. He's even blushing while talking to her! Hehehehe XD I don't know if he still likes her or not, but I found it amusing to force them to work together during a couple of my later mysteries ^^;;; I will say that Mai DOES NOT like him and probably never will . . . buuuut stranger things happen!
Ishizu and . . .
Okay, let's make this one easy. I really don't think Ishizu would be compatible with any of the characters other than Seto or perhaps Shadi ^____^ Ishizu and Shadi are both really mysterious people and everything, but I think under the proper circumstances, they could fall in love.
And to sum it all up, maybe that's the key for every relationship here, good or not XD Under the right circumstances, any of these pairings might work. Who knows?
