The Yu Yu Hakusho for the Fans Petition
Okay, many people have problably heard that the company Funimation, the dubbing company that ruined Dragonball Z, is now translating Yu Yu Hakusho. This may be a good thing, but probably not. First of all, Kurama looks like a girl, so guess what they'll probably do? Turn him into one? It's a sure bet! Kiss goodbye to the first five episodes, because Yuusuke dies and is ressurrected. Anyone remember why the last episode of DBZ, the uncut version, lasted only five minutes? Because a demon named Satanus came and took over the world, and the Christian coalition had a fit. One of the things that can be done to save Yu Yu Hakusho is that you can send a letter to Funimation via e-mail. Here's the addy: feedback@funimation.com. Please do not threaten the company, as that does none of us, especially the series, any good. Just point out the facts: We will boycott; we will rant on our pages (which, coincidentally, new fans will be looking at online... *evil grin*); and we will continue to buy fansubs, even though it is technically not legal (we could argue that it is legal because with all of the stuff that they'll cut out, the original series will seem like a totally different version...) The other thing you can do is sign this petition. Just click on any one of the pics below no da!
It's Jeri-chan!
"Bang."
I liked these three pictures best, so that's what I chose. To link to this petition on your own site, go here!
