Session 1: "Asteroid Blues"

Meet Spike Spiegal. He's just got done working out and he's on his way to eat some food cooked up by his friend/partner, Jet Black. Now, Jet isn't the best cook in the world, but he knows what he's doing. So, Jet cooks up Bellpeppers and Beef. Problem is...they don't have any beef, so it's just Bellpeppers. Ya see, these two are bounty hunters. Jet gets the info, Spike does the dirty work. It's pretty straightforward. Unfortunatly, so is Spike's approach. Since Spike destroyed numerous buildings and wounded a few people...they are broke.

The call comes in for a guy named Asimov Solensan, who has stolen a purer form of the drug Red Eye, this one called Bloody Eye. Whoever can catch Asimov gets 2.5 Million Wulongs. So, Spike heads off to talk to an old indian chief, while Jet goes to get some info.

The indian chief informs Spike that the "Red Eyed Coyote will be in the Zona Norte". He also informs him there will be a beautiful woman, a pursuit...then death. Spike, however, just smiles and says it's no surprise: he was already killed once by a woman. Flying off, Spike lands and decides to fuel up his ship, the Swordfish II, and runs into Asimov, though he says nothing at the time. Walking off, he runs into a very pregnant woman named Caterina. This is Asimov's girlfriend, who hopes to escape with him to Mars. Spike is decked from behind.

Jet stumbles over the unconcious Spike and informs him that he's giving up, no one can catch Asimov since he's using the Bloody Eye on himself, making him super strong. But, Spike holds up a vial of Bloody Eye he picked from Asimov's pocket. Yes, Spike has a plan...

When Asimov runs into a man wearing a sombrero ( a potential buyer), he finds the vial missing! The man in the sombrero turns out to be Spike, who is more than a match. Some Syndicate memebrs show up, Asimov flees and Caterina is revealed as not being pregnant, but as being the one holding onto the Bloody Eye. In space, Caterina decides she's had enough of this life, kills Asimov, and then remains motionless as Syndicate ships blow her little rocket to pieces.
