When three scientist are investigating some ancient ruins on Mt. Ararat, in Turkey, they discover what they believe is the wreck of Noah's Ark. However their joy is short-lived, and so are they as the relic projects a powerful, destructive energy which wipes out not only the team but three Pentagon satellites that hang in orbit above the atmosphere. Elsewhere, having witnessed the gruesome death of a friend, highschool student Yu Ominae, the top agent of a secret agency known as Akham, seeks revenge. He is quickly drawn into the fray as Akham and the US military are battling for the Ark's secret.

‘Spriggan’ is a very simply mix of action-adventure, in a plot that is regularly refereed to as an Indian Jones adventure. The good-guys are bound to save the day from the word go, fighting against incredible odds and bad-guys with a boss that sees himself as the personally selected Armageddon bringer to end the world for a fresh start. Gun-fights and actions scenes are abound as Yu fights his way through any resistance with the help of muscle enhancing technology on top of his already abnormally advanced reflexes.

‘Spriggan’ is a pretty average movie lacking characters and plot development but makes up for it with some nice action-scenes containing some sequences with very smooth animation.. The placement in budget is quite obvious from slow to the action packed scenes and some of the events that take place are somewhat unnecessary, pointless and hard to follow as people keep on coming back from the dead at the last second and amazing coincidences take place as standard in any style of action movie. But overall, its an enjoyable experience but hardly one you’ll be left thinking about and remembering as a classic for years to come.
