Destruction of the Innocent


Chapter 3:

      Tails listened patiently until he could no longer hear Sally's
  footsteps.  Then he finally relaxed, and slumped down beside the tree.
  What was Sally carrying when she came out of the darkness?  What did she
  find in there?  Oh, who cares?  He was too tired to think about it now.
  He had to get home and get some sleep... before Sally realized that he
  wasn't in bed!
