This was a pretty good movie. I never saw the series, but I have read some chapters of the manga, and luckily the movie isn't too confusing, so you don't have to be familiar with the show or the manga to understand this movie. The plot is very good, and, to me, seems quite original. The characters were good, and I didn't dislike any of them, but they just don't make me want to start a shrine for anyone of them. Oh boy, the animation was just beautiful. Everything just amazed me, from the forests, to the race track, and beyond. The music was great too. I like the song "Try To Wish", and the background music was pleasent to listen to. Even though I like the movie, it did seem a little boring at times, so try to bare with those parts of the movie. If you are a fan of shoujo or fantasy type anime, then I recommend this movie.
