Summary: Tweleve years ago, a giant seven-tailed kitsune (fox) demon attacked the village of Konohagkure, where the stealthiest ninjas in the world are trained. Defeated by the 4th Hokage, the village's strongest ninja, the demon's soul was sealed into the body of a newborn: Naruto Uzumaki. Feared and mistrusted because of the kitsune demon inside of him, Naruto grew up to become a troublemaker with one driving goal: to become the greatest ninja that Konohagakure has ever known, and to be recognized as the next Hokage.

If your looking for a good ninja story with a twist, look no further. Masashi Kishimoto (author) takes the regular ninja concept and puts a entirely new spin on it. All the characters have great personalities,and a few have some secrets that will drive you crazy trying to figuring them out. The plot is pretty good, has a lot of comedy, fighting and a "love triangle"(you have to read it to figure it out). The penciling is good, I love the faces Naruto makes when he doesn't have a clue whats going on. One really cool thing about both the anime and the manga is that the anime often uses the very same poses and camera angles of the manga series. If your tired of the same old ninja stories, then read Naruto.
