Kenshin Himura is the man the people know as batousai the manslayer(hitokiri batousai) but now, he is a wonderer(rurouni)He is a former student of a man called Seijiro Hiko, the 13th sucessor of the ''Hiten Mitsurugi ryu''. But Kenshin will never be the 14th sucessor because he dont want to, he just take the ideal of the Hiten.
The X:
This X scar on the left cheek of kenshin is a scar from the revolution, in the time of Hitokiri batousai...one day kenshin fight a man who hit him one the cheek.But kenshin do easily whit him, and kill him,( in this time, an old supertition tell this: if a man who really hate you made you bleed, this scar will never go away) this scar never goes away, and sometime it start bleeding.The man as a fiancé before he die,she's called Tomoe Yukishiro. The girl accept a deal whit a gang who want to kill Kenshin to avenge the death of her fiance, but she fell in love whit kenshin and at the last time try to stop the man who wiil kill kenshin...but it's to late, the strike of kenshin already launch and hit Tomoe, and kill the bad manwhit Tomoe. On the ground, the last thing Tomoe do before dying, is to make another scar to kenshin. The assemblageof the 2 scar form a X...there is the origine of the X scar
The "reverse blade sword":
At the end of the revolution(Bakumatsu), Kenshin keep is promese to himself and decide to never use a sword to take a humain life again. he trow his sword away, and decide to travel all over japan to find a way to atone the death of the people he kill. But before he go away, The swordsmith Shaku Arai, give him a sword he call a piece of scrap, a sword whit a blade on the wrong side.......
