A long time ago, during the old revolution of japan, a little boy name Shinta and some women whit him became the victim of some bad men in the area, but due to an unexpected apearence of A legendary man, the little boy survive, but he lose to protect the lady's. The man name is Seijiro Hiko, the sucessor of the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu. Hiko rename the little boy because shinta is not quite apropriate for a swordman, he name the boy Kenshin, and teach him the mythic Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu.......
Someday, Kenshin is recruit by a division of imperialist who want's to destroy the old Edo Era in order to raise a new world, a world of peace.Kenshin became the assasin in the shadow, kiling people for the imperialist, and became know under the name of the Hitokiri Batousai*.One day, he emerge into the light, now know and fear by everyone, and became the most deadliest murderer of the revolution.
Whatever, Kenshin does'nt like the life of a murderer. He swear that when the time will come, he will never kill a man again.
At the end of the revolution, the time is come for Kenshin to keep his promise whit himself, stop killing and find a way to repent for the life he take during the revolution. He switch his sword, for a reverse blade sword, a sword whit the blade on the wrong side, this way, he will not kill people, even if he fight. He became a rurouni(wonderer) and walk all over japan, helping people, whit his new oath, an oath not to kill.
A day come when Kenshin wanderind in tokyo this is the last place Kenshin go, being a wonderer, there, he find many friends. Here, in tokyo at the Kamiya dojo, Kenshin will start to create a new legend, the legend of a Rurouni that does'nt kill, but still protect people whit a japanese sword........
*( hitokiri: a murderer, manslayer. Batousai: Batousai is the name give to the one who perfectly masterd all the technics of batoujutsu)
