Kinomoto Sakura is a happy 10-year-old girl who accidentally finds a book hidden in her father's library, The legendary book of The Clow belonging to Clow Reed. And when she opens it she unknowingly releases Kero the Guardian of the seal, and sent the Clow cards scattering throughout Japan. It's now her mission along with Kero and her best friend Daidouji Tomoyo (who accidentally stumbled upon Sakura's little secret) to get the cards back and inside the book.

Not long into the series a young transfer student comes to Tomoeda from Hong Kong named Li Syaoran. Sakura soon learns he is a descendent of Clow Reed himself and feels that he is the rightful wielder of the Clow Cards and tries to take them from her. When he attacks her for them Touya steps in and defends her. But then Yukito comes and Syaoran runs off with a blush (*Hint*). But with Syaoran follows Meiling Li. She also tries to cause trouble for Sakura.

Also there are many twist and turns that arise like that Tsukishiro Yukito is really... Or that Kinomoto Fujitaka and Hiiragizawa Eriol are really both part of... Sorry to want to give to much away now.
