Recently a good friend of mine just awoke from a coma, and as such i decided this would be the proper time to gripe about the quality of hospitals. Now I personally have never been fond of doctors, but the quality of treatment in hospitals from my experiences has never been good. If you don't come in with an ambulance crew you'll be waiting inside the emergency room till your limbs fall off. Then 6 hrs later when they finally call you in to be seen they rush you in and out, and make you wonder just what it was that took so long for them to call you in the first place.
Granted I've seen plenty of cases where the doctors and nurses work very hard to help you, and save your life, but sometimes the bad just outweighs the good.
Now another thing I'd like to argue is that OVERALL hospitals do not help you get better right away. Rather, I've seen fully mobile and functional people called into the hospital and end up worse off than when they went in. Two of these people I know ended up in comas. One never woke up. Now, anyone who reads these things knows I'm big on conspiracy theories, and this is no exception. I think the hospitals want to make money, and make so that most of their patients get worse before they get better.
These "GOD-LIKE" figures we call doctors can be helpful, but let's not forget that they're in a business, just a like salesman looking for a comission.
