How Long Are You Willing To Wait?

Recently I went to Great Adventures, as with most other people going to this illustrius theme park, I was anxious to get on the new Superman ride. So, I got myself up just after the crack of dawn to make the horrendous three hour drive, just so I would be one of the first couple of hundred people into the park and be able to go on the Superman ride first without a much of a line. And, as I figured it went off as such without a hitch. However, what I wasn't expecting was that by the time we reached the staircase, the line had already doubled in length. So my friend and I agreed to wait until a little later before returning to it, and ventured on to the other coatsers.
Both the Medusa and the Nitro had reasonably sized lines considering it was a nice day, and school hadn't let out for the brats yet. After going on these coasters, having funnel cake and going on a few of the more classic rides, my friend and I returned to the Superman ride only to find that the line, which had originally had been about a 15 or 20 minute wait if that, had increased to an almost two hours wait!
I must ask you, fine readers, where else in the world would you wait in line for something for almost two hours to have maybe 30 seconds of entertainment?! I mean, I thought about it for a while, but aside from a really good amusement park ride, usually coasters or river rapid type rides, or if you're in a water park, the huge water slides, but now where outside of an amusement park would you ever dare to put up with such utter nonsense. And that's all I have to say about that.
