Why is it every American anime company deems it necessary to dub? Most anime shouldn't be watched by someone who's not old enough to read and understand the subtitles anyway. Cause then you end up with a little kid who points to Dragon Pink, a hentai, on the shelf "because it looks like pokemon" and then ask mommy to buy it for them. Well sure, that's just great! "Hey mommy, why are those 2 girls licking each other?"
Yeah okay...look a show that is not PG enough to stick on TV shouldn't be stuck there! The girls in Card Captor Sakura (The show is NOT CALLED CARD CAPTORS!!!!)are gay, and so are all the guys. Li likes Yukito, or whatever the hell they call him in english, and yukito likes sakura's brother and vice versa. Changing the lines really screws up the story line! And while I'm on the subject of Sakura, starting the series 10 episodes in is equally idiotic!
Along these lines the last time I checked Ash and Satoshi were the same person, as are Kojiro and James, and Madison and Tomoyo, and the list goes on and on and on and on... Changing the name does NOT make a series more watchable.
I have to admit Cartoon Network isn't as bad as WB or FOX, with the exception of InuYasha, which is an entirely separate gripe.
I'll end by saying this, some people just should not be voice actors. CoffDavidMooCoff.
