The problem with boredom is simply that if you think about it, it's never fully possible to be bored. No matter how it seems that there is absolutely nothing at all to do there is ALWAYS something to do. For instance as I was laying around staring at the ceiling, debating how bored I was to myself, I was so politely reminded by Mina-san that I had a number of things to do. I have at least 5 different anime series I haven't even begun to watch, at least 4 PS2 games i haven't played/finished, comics I could be working on, ect.
So I figured that people are only bored because they chose to be so! So in actuality no one has the right to complain that they're bored, even though they will, and even though I always do, however, what is more appropriate is that they complain that they're too lazy to get off their bums and decide on something to do.
Just in case you were wondering...which I'm sure you weren't, I'm typing this to alleviate boredom.
