In my spare time, I like to use Adobe Photoshop 6.0 to make some spiffy wallpapers. I made some of these when I was on my older, smaller computer, so there are more 800x600 than 1024x768. Tai from the Digimon Movie 800x600 My first wallpaper that I actually liked. I got all the images from (now nonexistent) The Digimon Experience. The shot of Tai floating down to WarGreymon is one of my favorite scenes from the movie. ^_^ Koushiro and Tentomon collage 800x600 Ick, this isn't very good AT ALL. The screenshot I used was to small. I just liked the pics themselves. Plus, Izzy rules. But not as much as Joe. ^_^ Card Captor Sakura Christmas 800x600 ~*~ 1024x768 I like this one much better than the other too. Even thought this is kinda simple, it looks nice and crisp. Yup. I spent a lot of time going along the edges and cutting and pasting from the original image. "Super Duper Love Love Days" 800x600 Another old-ish one. The photograph in the back was taken by my sister. At this camp thing. It was pretty, so I used it. The picture of Sakura and Li is from Cherry Blossoms. "Home Away From Home" collage 800x600 ~*~ 1024x768 Back when I was really into Digimon, I thought the Home Away From Home episode (#21) was the coolest episode ever made. They really tried hard cinematographically, if that's possible in a kid's cartoon. This is a tribute to the awe it inspired in me back then. ^_^ "Shining Girl" Lina Inverse 800x600 ~*~ 1024x768 Went through my collection of Slayers pics, and this was the best one to make a wallpaper out of, basically. The pink swirly in the back was a TOTAL stroke of luck. Very busy-looking wallpaper, but I'm pleased with it nonetheless. John Rios's "Alcander" 800x600 ~*~ 1024x768 First of a buncha tributes to my favorite artists. This was another one of those "let luck take you" wallpapers. Despite it's assumed simplicity, it took quite a while to get it right. The original image is found here. Anya Schwartz's "Ginger" 800x600 ~*~ 1024x768 I like the combo of pink and green. A fun one to make. The original image is found somewhere around here. Amanda Lien's "Agent T" 800x600 ~*~ 1024x768 Of course, I had to include my bud Amanda. ^_^ Went for a yellow/black/white look, I think it works. The white outline of her in the back on the left looks kinda X-files-ish. The sketchy yellow lineart of Amanda might have been over-doing it, but it didn't look the same without it. Matt Page's "Halcyon" 800x600 ~*~ 1024x768 I've had fun matching each of these wallpapers to have the same feel as their art, and this one was no exception. I used lots of effects and different opacities for each picture (there are 3). I think this is my best so far. The original images can be found here, here(part of the comic), and here. Bri Garcia and her "Arachnia" 800x600 ~*~ 1024x768 Bri has very simple stuff (in terms of backgrounds and a picture's composition), so I made a simple background. Her dinosaurs are awesome. She can actually make them look cute. ^_^ The original images can be found here and here. Rina Cat collage 800x600 ~*~ 1024x768 Kinda similar to Bri's. Too bad I couldn't find a bigger picture of her to use in the foreground. Sis thinks I look like Rina cat, heh. I guess, to some extent; I wish I could have an online presence like she's created, but I don't like drawing myself so much.
