Rockna's father, Hiragi, finds a portal leading into Monworld, and picks his daughter to help enforce peace in it. Along with her boyfriend Mondo, who has to be constantly reminded that he's taken, they merge with monsters to obtain the Monster items needed to bring both worlds together for universal peace.
