DragonBall Xtreme - This show is based on a already made cartoon series called DragonBall Z. But for this series Piccolo and Kakarot have become arch rivals because of the power of the DragonBall’s. Kakarot wants to avenge the death of his first son, Gohan. Even tough Piccolo and Kakarot have worked together to overcome there hatred, and defend the earth from many forces, such as Freza and Cell, Piccolo had become close to Gohan and had even trained him. Finally one day Piccolo had got mad about Gohan exceeding his power he decided to take charge and fight the Guardian of earth, Dendey. After a hard fought battle, Piccolo won. Piccolo took over as guardian of earth and made DragonBall’s powerful enough to kill a saiyan, even Gohan. Once Gohan found out he told his father. His father, Kakarot, told him not to worry because he knew that his son had the power to overcome everything that Piccolo tried. One thing that they never knew was Piccolo knew Gohan’s weakness, his father. Finally Krillin comes back from his vacation and finds out what’s going on and decides to fight Piccolo. He challenges Piccolo and 3 days later they begin to fight, in the middle of the fight Gohan shows up. Piccolo ignores Krillin and starts to fight Gohan, little does Gohan know Piccolo had made a wish to become immortal and that Gohan would give up his life if his father tried to interfere. If he didn’t His father would die a horrifying death. By this time Kakarot was on his way to find Gohan. Kakarot seemed to be worried, even tough Gohan is 21 now Kakarot has a feeling that something has gone wrong. When Kakarot arrives he finds Piccolo looking over the corpse of Gohan. Kakarot asks Krillan it Gohan is all right, but Krillan felt no energy signal and no pulse. Kakarot drops to his knee’s and starts to cry, when he stops he gets up and walks towards Piccolo and says I will never forget this, I will avenge my sons death and make sure you never see the light of day again. When Kakarot said that Piccolo laughed and said I never killed your son, you did. Kakarot doesn’t understand. He took the corps of his son away and buried him . Kakarot trained and trained, for the day that he would steal the DragonBall’s and defeat Piccolo. Kakarot had one wish in life, which was to see his son succeed and live a good life and die old. Kakarot tough about his sons death everyday, it did not make him weaker, it made him stronger. It made him stronger by longing to see his son one more time. He would get his revenge, someday, but he doesn’t know how, or when, He just wanted to see his son one last time. Kakarot starts to search for help, so he can start his training. Even tough he has an enemy in vegeta he goes to him for help. vegeta says he would help, but there was one thing he wanted in return, he wanted Kakarot to train Trunks. Kakarot agreed since he hasn’t seen Trunks since Chichi died. Kakarot and vegeta trained for weeks, they grew close while they trained, and they actually started to trust each other. vegeta starts to talk to Trunks about getting trained into being a SuperSaiyan, Trunks decided to follow in his fathers footsteps and become a SuperSaiyan. When Trunks finds out it wasn’t going to be he father training him he began to have doubts, because he had only met Kakarot as a child and has no memory of him at all, but when vegeta says he has been training with Kakarot, Trunks suddenly changes his mind. Trunk meets Kakarot and starts with the basics. While all this has been happening Piccolo starts spying on Krillin. Krillin had been training by himself without Kakarot knowing. Krillin was a good friend of Gohan and he also wanted to get revenge. Piccolo was in shock to see that Krillin of all people was training to face Piccolo. Krillin was like Kakarot, he has the death of Gohan on his mind all the time. He was the only witness of Gohan’s death, he never told Kakarot how it had happened but he had always wanted to. Krillin witnessed Gohan giving up his life for his father’s. Krillin was the last person to hear Gohan speak. Gohan had told Krillin to hold back his father from fighting Piccolo; he would do that himself in due time. Krillin had never understood what Gohan meant, but he was starting to understand. What Krillin thinks Gohan means is, he would get to Piccolo through his dreams and torture him into bringing himself, Gohan, back to life. Krillin started to reflect on what Gohan said. Finally one day Krillin woke up and decided to tell Kakarot. Krillin went to Kakarot’s house to find him training Trunks. Kakarot and Krillin went inside to talk while Trunks worked on focusing his power into some moves. Krillin told Kakarot that he knew what had happened to Gohan. When Krillin said that Kakarot asked him why he kept it a secret for so long. Krillin said he was trying to figure out what Gohan meant, and now he knows. Krillin tells Kakarot what Gohan said to him last, and what he understood about what he meant. Once Kakarot found out he halted his training for a short while so he could fully concentrate on what his son meant and also training Trunks. There was one thing that Kakarot never understood, why did Krillin keep the last words of Gohan so secret even tough he didn’t understand. Even though Gohan was on his mind he still managed to train Trunks. There was one thing that vegeta wanted from Kakarot, which was to make Trunks a SuperSeyan. While training one day Piccolo dropped in to see how Trunks was coming along, for all this time that Trunks was in training, Piccolo wanted to keep an eye out on Trunks because he was the son of a Seyan and would be a powerful force on earth. Kakarot seemed to have a bond with Trunks. Like a son and father type bond. Since Gohan was gone, also Chichi, Kakarot wanted to have another son, to Kakarot, Trunks was a second son. Piccolo laughed to himself as he saw Kakarot struggle to train Trunks. Kakarot knew what he needed to train Trunks. He needed the help of the HyperBolic Time Chamber. The only way Kakarot would get to it is to distract Piccolo while he and Trunks sneak in. But how? Well they would get Krillin to Challenge Piccolo for a short while, whoever gave up would lose. That would give Kakarot and Trunks just enough time to sneak by Piccolo and go in the HyperBolic Time Chamber.
