ONE PIECE Character Profiles
Luffy D. Monkey
as a child wanted to become a pirate. One day he accidentally ate the eGomuGomu Fruitf one of the Devil Fruits. Now is whole body is rubber. A sea monster almost ate him but he was saved by his friend eRed Haired Shanksf who is the captain of the gRed Haired Pirate Gangh but in exchange for Luffyfs life, Shanks lost his left arm. Shanks gave Luffy his precious farmer hat and told him to give it back when he became a great pirate. Luffyfs treasure is the hat he got from Shanks. Luffyfs dream is to become the Pirate King. Luffy came from eFushya Muraf a village in the West Blue area. He has one brother who is 3 years older than he is Portugus D. Ace. His brother also ate a Devil Fruit but before he was always stronger than Luffy. Luffy is 172cm (about 5h7f and s half) his birthday is May 5th and he is 17 years old. His head was worth 30,000,000 Berry but later it is raised to 100,000,000 Berry. He is a happy go lucky guy most of the time. He virtually has no brain but he is caring and is strong. He likes to eat and has about no skills. His favorite food is meat on a stick.
Zoro Roronoa
took kendo at a nearby doujo where he met a girl named Kuina. As a child Zoro wanted to become the greatest swordsman in the world. He learned to use two swords at once and he was stronger than most of the adults in his doujo. But he never managed to beat the girl Kuina. He was so frustrated the time when he lost to her for the 2000th time. His teacher told him that it was nothing because Kuina was a little older than he was. He replied to the teacher that it didnft matter because he was stronger than the adults. Kuina being the daughter of the teacher, Zorofs friends thought that they did some kind of secrete training. That night Zoro challenged Kuina to a real sword fight. He lost to Kuina once again for the 2001st time. Kuina later talked to Zoro saying that she wanted to be born a boy because her father told her that a girl couldnft be worldfs best. Zoro got angry that she was crying that she wasnft a boy yet she beat him every time. He made her promise that one day he or her would be worldfs best. She promised even though she thought Zoro was weak at the time. The next day Zoro found out that Kuina had slipped and fell on her stairs and died. Zoro got Kuinafs katana from her father and vowed he would make his name reach heaven. From that day no, Zoro uses 3 swords. Zoro was known as ePirate Hunter Zorof because when he first set out to sea to find a man he fought outlaws to gain money for his daily needs. Zorofs dream is to be the greatest swords man in the world. His treasure is the eWadou Ichimonjif the sword he got from Kuina. Zoro is 19 years old 178cm (about 5f9h) and was born on November 11th. He likes to drink and loves his liquor very much. He later is an outlaw for 60,000,000 Berry. His trademark is his green hair and green stomach cover.
Nami
always wanted to become a navigator and wanted to draw the world map as she saw it. Nami was on orphan and was adopted by Berumeru she has an older esisterf Nojiko. Nami was raised in eKokoyashi Muraf in the West Blue on an orange farm. When Nami was 10, pirates invaded her village and made the villagers pay for their lives and the people who couldnft pay would die. Namifs mother Berumeru was on of those people. The pirates said that they would let the village go if Nami paid them 1,000,000 Berry. Nami would steal from pirates and collect that money. From then on, she stole from pirates. Nami hates pirates the most and she loves oranges and money. She is strong against liquor and her treasure is her orange field. She uses a 3 parted stick as her weapon. Later it improves. Nami is 18 years old, 169cm (about 5f6h). Her birthday is July 3rd and her three sizes are B86 W57 H86 (? Donft ask why I know). Nami is the brain of the team, but isnft very strong.
Usoppu
as a child wanted to become the bravest man with the greatest adventures. His father left him and his mother when Usoppu was little. And his mother died from an illness. But, as Usoppufs mother was dying, he burst into the house shouting, gThe pirates are coming! Dadfs come to get us mom! Once you get better, he said he would take us on a voyage!!h The doctor holds him and tell him to be quiet. His mother looks at him and says, gDonft be silly Usoppu. Your father will never come back. But Ifm not regretting that I married you father, I think of it as my pride. You will become a brave man like your father too.h gDonft say things like your going to die.h Says Usoppu with tears in his eyes. gHey, you know the legend of the magical medicine? Therefs a magical medicine! It can cure any kind of sickness! Itfs over in that sea!h Says Usoppu with more tears. gDonft be stupid. You day dreaming too such. Listen, one in a million, if something happens to mech Usoppufs mother begins to say. gI donft care if Ifm stupid! I donft want to hear about what to do after you die!h Usoppu shouts. gIfll dream, because Ifm a piratefs son!!h Says Usoppu with tears, but is trying to smile. From then on, Usoppu always shouted the pirates are coming to the town. Usoppu, like his father, has great aim. Usoppufs characteristic is his long pointy nose like Pinocchio, which he took after his mother. Usoppu is 17, the same as Luffy, 174 cm tall (about 5f8h), And his birthday is April 1. Gee, I wonder why? Usoppu gets along with anybody and is a care-free guy, but he is a real wimp, but he acts tough a lot.
Sanji
as a child wanted to be a cook and find the legendary sea , the All-Blue. When Sanji was a kid, he worked on a cruise ship as cook trainee. There, the ship he was working on was invaded by the eCook Piratesf and Sanji tried to fight the eRed Shoed Zefuf who had a powerful kick. A giant wave carried Sanji off and Zefu saved him. Sanji and Zefu was washed up on an empty rock island where they starved for 85 days. Zefu gave Sanji all the food he managed to save, but he himself ate his own leg. Sanji left responsible for that and he vowed to stay and help Zefu as long as he was alive. Zefu and Sanji opened the first on the sea restraunt. Sanji wanted to become an adult soon because Zefu kept calling him a child. He picked up smoking to look more like an adult. Sanjifs characteristics are his curly eyebrows and his hair style that we never get to see his left eye. Sanji has yellow/blonde hair and he always wears a nice siut. He also has a small goatee and is almost always smoking. His legs are twice the size of his body. Sanji is 19 like Zoro and he has a powerful kick that can break 21 wooden bats that are in a row with on kick. Sanjifs birthday is March 2 (thatfs where he got the name Sanji) and he is 177cm, 1 cm shorter than Zoro (about 5f9h) and he loves women.
Bibi Nephertari is the princess of the Kingdom Alabasta. She joined a secrete society called the "Baroque Works" where they were trying to take over Bibi's country. She and her Cheif of Army Igaramu joined the society to find out who the boss of the soceity was. Once they found out, the rest of the society found out and were after them! She joins the Luffy Crew because she has no where else to go and she 'accidentally' told Luffy, Zoro, and Nami the secrete of the boss's identity. Not much is really known about Bibi, but she is a very caring person and she is willing to do anything for her country. Bibi is also known as Ms. Wensday and she alwasy has with her, her big bird that is fastest on legs and can not fly, kind of like an osterich, Karu. Karu has been with her since she was a kid. Bibi's weapon is a little blade on the end of a string which she twirls on her pinky. She magically pulls them out of her costumes where the breasts are, some weird humor I suppose. Bibi is 16 and her birthday is Febuary 2. That's all about what is known about Bibi. I'm sorry I don't know everything!
Nico Robin is the newest addition to the crew. She used to be Ms. All Sunday in the Baroqueworks but then Crocodile betrade her and tried to kill her and well, she wanted to die but Luffy forcefully saved her. She didn't have any other place to go so she asked to stay on that ship and Luffy said yes. Robin is 28 and I think they decided her birthday was Febuary 6th. She ate the 'Hana hana Fruit' and she can make any part of her body bloom like petals in any place she wants. Pretty cool and kinda disterbing. She was a bounty head at the age of 8 and has been in hiding ever since. She is good at assasinations and working in the shadows. I think she's the new brain of the crew since she is very smart. She is also very calm and never changes her facial expression. Not much is known about Robin either and she is a women of many mysteries. Her goal is to find the Eternal Leopose or something that is the the stone with all history encarved in it. That's all I know, sorry!
