Megaman Games
This is where it all began. In the year 200X, the good scientist Dr. Thomas Light and his more dubious partner, Dr. Albert Wily, collaborated on the design of a series of humanoid robots that would systematically change the world. But, the evil Dr. Wily decided to turn against Dr. Light and stole six of the robots in a quest to conquer the world with their amazing strengths and abilities. To preserve order, Dr. Light transforms his robotic boy into a fighting machine. Megaman was born. Now, it's up to Megaman to defeat the six other robots and defeat Dr. Wily.
Following his original defeat at the hands of Megaman, Dr. Wily was not content to fade into history as a scientific criminal. Instead, he assembled eight robots of his own and made a second run at conquering the world. Fresh from their first battle, Megaman is sent into the fire again to stop Wily.
After Dr. Wily's second defeat in Megaman 2, Wily decides that maybe taking over the world just isn't worth the effort. So, he comes knocking on Dr. Light's door and wants to help Dr. Light design a peace keeping robot named Gamma. But, wouldn't you know it? Eight crystals need to be retrieved from mining planets before Gamma will function. And each is being held by a robot master. Guess who is charged with retrieving all eight?
Having shattered the plans of the maniacal Dr. Wily three times, the world seems ready for peace. But, a mysterious Russian scientist named Dr. Cossack enters the scene and picks up right where Wily left off with his own array of eight diabolical robot masters. Can Megaman stop this new scientist and preserve peace for once again?
Protoman plays a big role in Megaman 5. Megaman's brother arrives at Dr. Light's Lab and kidnaps the good scientist. Megaman arrives to find Protoman's trademark yellow scarf as a calling card. Now, Megaman must stop his own brother and save Dr. Light from the terrible fate that awaits him.
A powerful technocrat named Mr. X decides to start an international robot design contest. Creators of robots from around the world enter the arena to see their robots do battle. But, the event is cancelled when Mr. X takes control of the robots for himself and decides to take over the world using them. Professing to have manipulated "that fool Wily" from the very beginning, Mr. X proves that there's just no trusting anyone named Mr. X. Now, it's up to Megaman and Rush to bring Mr. X to justice.
At the end of Megaman 6, Megaman arrested Dr. Wily and incarcerated him. But Wily, being an evil genius after all, always knew that his plans might fail someday. So, he created four robots in reserve to rescue him if the need ever arose. Bass was one of those robot. Throught the game Megaman fight Bass.The robots end up rescueing him, breaking him out of his prison cell. Can Megaman stop Dr. Wily once again and save the city?
Deep in the far reaches of outer space, a battle rages between two mysterious robots. After they beat each other, they fall into the gravitational pull of the Earth and crash land on a mysterious island. Megaman is dispatched to the island to figure out what happened.
Wily has created another new robot. His name is King. He has decided that he is the best robot to be builty by Wily, and he is out to prove it. Protoman could not stand up to King, but Megaman and Bass together might stand a better chance.
It is the year 21XX. The Scientist Dr. Cain is on a excavation dig when he comes upon an ancient containment capsule left by the scientist Dr. Light. Curious with his findings he opened the capsule to find an advanced blue robot named Megaman X. X could make his own descisions and choices in life because of the free will that Dr. Light programmed him with. Other than his robot body, X was human. Dr. Cain proceeded to study Dr. Light's great achievement closely and eventually he had replicated X and build other robots called Reploids.
The Reploids seemed to be a peaceful creation, but soon they started to become mentally unstable and were known as Mavericks. Unable to replicate X's being perfectly, Dr. Cain had created an army of violent robots bent on extinguishing the human race. Cain them formed an agency called Maverick Hunter and appointed the Reploid, Sigma, the head of the agency. Sigma and the sane Reploids fought to keep the Mavericks at bay for as long as they could, but soon Sigma himself couldn't take it anymore and became a Maverick (a very powerful Maverick).
At this point X felt that he was responsible for this whole mess and decided he had to do something. X wasn't a violent robot and really hated the idea of battle, but he knew that he had to do something to stop Sigma. X joined Maverick Hunter. On his way through a devistated highway he met up with a misterious red robot by the name of Zero. Zero help X escape the clutches of Vile (one of Sigma's followers). Together with Zero, X vowed to stop Sigma at all costs... Thus begins Megaman X.
Six months pass, and the war against the Mavericks is almost over. Megaman X has assumed command of the Maverick Hunters, and they are about to crush the Maverick insurection, when they and Dr. Cain are contacted by Agile, Serges, and Violen, the X-Hunters. They have Zero's parts, and intend to resurrect him to fight for the Maverick cause. X, in a desperate attempt to save him, fights through the X-Hunters, each making reference to the prophesy. Sigma is back! Zero is then brough back to life, and Sigma is defeated again. But, this is not the end.
A year passes. All Mavericks have been neutralized, thanks to the efforts, and neuro computer of a Reploid scientist named Dr. Doppler. They then settle in a utopian Reploid society called DoppleTown. Little time passes, however, before they begin to go berserk and riot after becoming infected with a strange virus. Dr. Doppler is then implicated as he ringleader, but not before the Reploids storm Maverick Hunter Headquarters. Megaman X and Zero, now the leader of a special0-unit, repel the attack and set out to stop the revolt. Doppler sends Bit and Byte, and a new and improved Vile, in the new ride armor Goliath. Upon defeting Doppler, X finds that Doppler was corrupted by the virus, which is actually Sigma's true form, and that Dopppler has built a new super battle body for his controller to occupy. X destroys the body and, after narrowly escaping being possesed himself, X sees Dr. Doppler die for his attrocities to destroy Sigma and Zero eliminates him with an Anti-Sigma virus program. It is revealed that in the end, X must destroy Zero to save humanity.
Long after Sigma was annhialated, a new faction of Reploids forms: the Repliforce. Commanded by General and his second-in-command Colonel, they are watched carefully by all. Magma Dragon, a Maverick Hunter, cause a floating lava bed to come crashing to the ground, causing untold carnage. X, a commander of Unit #14, and Zero commanding his elite Unit #0, are sent to investigate. X is confronted by General and Zero meets with Colonel, who thanks him for rescuing his sister Iris in the catastrophe. Zero and X are then sent to war against the Repliforce, who are held responsible for the fall of the lava bed. The Repliforce takes offense at being branded as a faction of Mavericks, and begins construction of a superweapon to defend themselves and their dream of a Reploids-only nation of their own. Double, a clumsey Maverick Hunter, is assigned to X's unit. Iris accompanies Zero, though she is torn between her love for her brother and her love for him. Operating independantly, X and Zero fight new, powerful Reploids. They fight their way through Colonel, and discover that Sigma is alive! He has been manipulating the Repliforce and Maverick Hunters to get a hold of the Repliforce's superweapon. General sacrifices himself to destroy it, and the final battle begins. Sigma discovers that Zero was once a Maverick, but saw the light and joined the Hunters. Sigma is defeated once again, but X fears that one day he, too, may go Maverick. He makes Zero promise that if that ever happens, he will destroy X
In the year 21XX, a floating space station known as the Eurasia Colony was placed into orbit around Earth. But now, a mysterious Maverick known as Dynamo has sabotaged the support systems of the Colony and has caused its orbit to degrade, hurdling towards Earth. The results could be devastating if it succeeds in crashing onto Earth's surface. It's up to X and Zero to find the parts needed to power the Enigma Beam, the only device strong enough to force the Colony back on course.
There are two diffrent ending in this game. One of them is when X and Zero were able to collect all the part and defeat Sigma. The second ending, the colony crushes into earth almost whipping out everything. Zero being affected by the Sigma virus turns against X. Now X has to defeat both Sigma and Zero.
There are three diferent destines for our heros. In all three Zeros dies. In one of them X memory of Zero is completely erased. In the other he remebers Zero and he blames himself for Zero's death. In the last one the two of them die and Sigma rules what remains of earth.
Three weeks ago, Sigma's evil scheming set off a colony fall incident. Zero's death protected the Earth from colliding with the plummeting colony, but Earth was scorched beyond saving, devastated by the severe effects of the Sigma Virus... Following the attack, all humans had to retreat underground to escape the toxic pollution blanketing the Earth's surface. The pollution has now cooled enough to be measured and contained, and Reploids have begun the recovery operation.
A scientist Reploid named Gate comes across a strange chip, which immediately possesses him with evil energy. Can X find the remnants of Zero and stop Gate's twisted ideal of a Reploid utopia, without humans, from becoming a reality? To make sure his plan goes well, Gate reactivates a huge, dangerous Reploid, believed to have disintegrated during Sigma's attack. Alia informs X about and X heads to the battlefield armed with Zero's Z-Saber.
An evil hacker known as Techno has broken into the Mother Computer and is infecting it. In order to save the system, X is digitized in it and is forced to face resurrected boss data from his previous adventures.
A mysterious disaster has befallen the Reploid race. Scientist Reploids around the world have had their memory banks completely erased. Researcher Reploids who came to explore a strange island also suffered erasure, after having encountered a small army of Mavericks from the past. Now it's up to Maverick Hunters X and Zero to get to the island and find out who or what is behind all of the chaos.
Megaman, his friend Roll, and the old man Gramps are treasure hunters on a world of archipelagos, where there is rumored to exist a "Mother Lode" of ancient, energy-producing refractors. If Megaman can find it, he'll be set for life - but only if he beats the pirates to it!
MML2 carries on where MML left off, Barrel Casket and his friend Von Burton decide to continue the search for the mother load, a treasure of immeasurable wealth. They build a huge ship called the Sulfur Bottom, and try to use this ship to get through a huge protective storm on an island thought to hold such treasures. Consequently they get into some ‘trouble’ and it’s Megaman to the rescue!
In the year 22XX, decades have past since the long Maverick Hunter X succeeded in obliterating the Maverick resistance. In the years that ensure, the world attempts to heal the wounds caused by the Mavericks. But a government faction, called Neo Arcadia, has launched an oppressive regime of genocide against all remaining Reploids. A group of survivors, seeking to escape the watchful eyes of Neo Arcadia, flee to a ruined city where they are ambushed by Neo Arcadian troopers. Many are killed.
Witnessing the violence, a human scientist named Shel survives and recalls, from history, a great Reploid that fought against evil. That Reploid is Zero. And now, having been sealed away in a capsule to eliminate all traces of his Maverick programming, it is Zero's turn to awaken in a world far, far different from the 21XX he used to know.
In the year 20XX, it is a cool hobby among kids and adults alike to surf the Internet using advanced portable exploration terminal, or PET. But an evil crime syndicate, the World Three (WWW), intends to take over the Internet for their own selfish purposes. It's up to a heroic boy named Lan and his PET, Megaman.exe, to save the day and preserve the future of the Internet!
Lan and Megaman.EXE return in this sequel to the first Megaman RPG. With Dr. Wily and the WWW all but eliminated, a new group of cyber-criminals, known as 'Gospel', have reared their ugly head. What their true intentions are is anyone's guess, but as long as they threaten the safety of the Net, Megaman.EXE will be there to stop them.
This is a game that characters from both the Capcom Games and from the Marvel Comics fight each other. Megaman comes out in the first of this two games as a hidden character, but on the second one you could two him from the begining. You can also pick some other characters from the Megaman games like Roll Casket, Tron Bonne and Servebot.
Capcom is planning to come out with another Megaman game by the middle of 2003. They are not sure for what game system is going to be for. But they promised that it will have some great graphics and some great story behind it. One thing is for certain that this Megaman X7 game is going to be sell fast.
