This was the Pilot episode that started the series off into orbit. This introduced the world that is Rockman EXE (Megaman Battle Network in U.S.). The Show starts off with a boy named Net (Lan), you seems depressed with his current store purchased Navi while all of this friends around have custom Navis. After a long day at school, and even fishing around with the fish man, Masa. Net comes home for dinner when Net's mom announced that Net's father has sent a letter to him. As soon as Net hears that he opens the letter to find a mini-disc inside for his computer. Remembering his father's promise that when Net reached 5th grade he would get a custom Navi built by him, Net rushed up to his room to install the program. Excited with joy, Net waited to see his new navi...unfornately the process took 30 minutes and Net isn't a patient one and went to sleep. To his delight later on, to find waking him up inside his Pet was his new navi, Rockman (Megaman)! Not too excited about Rockman's apperance, he feared he would still lose to his rival, especially Dekao (Dex) and his Gutsman. Until, he hears a scream from his mother downstairs, Net rushed out with his new navi to investigate and to find his oven has burst out into flames! Quickly Net jack-in Rockman into the Oven and find out the Oven has been over ran by virues. Quickly enough Rockman took the virues out with his Rock Buster (Mega Buster) but then noticed someone watching him thur the flames, however dissappeared. Afterwards watching Rockman's abilities, Net was sure that Rockman is the perfect Navi and is able to combat and defeat Dekao's Gutsman with ease! The next day at School, Rockman explained what he saw within the flames watching him and is curious that this navi is behind the recent oven attacks within the city. Little do they know, that the new net-crime organization, World 3 (WWW) is behind the attacks. After school, Net has challenged Dekao to a Net Battle in school, with Rockman taking on Gutsman. The Match began and it seems Rockman has the upper advantage until Mayl's navi Roll appeared and asked for help. It seems Mayl's oven has caught fire during Mayl's piano lessons. Quickly to rush, Rockman and Gutsman went thur the net to reach Mayl's oven while Net and Dekao raced to Mayl's house on foot. Rockman and Gutsman battled off the vicious virues until the man behind the virus attacks, Mr. Match noticed them ruining his plans. Match thereby called Fireman to delete them, and soon the real fight was under way as Fireman has bust into battle sending vicious waves of fire at Rockman and Gutsman. Meanwhile Net and Dekao arrived at Mayl's house and got her out from the smoke. Afterwards Net noticed Rockman was in serious trouble and Gutsman has already been deleted. Lan knew Rockman needed a Battle-chip to fight back! So brave Net ran back into the smoke filled house to jack into the burning oven. As soon as he did Rockman was recharged and ready for battle, as he pulled out his Shotgun attack follwed by his Sword which chops off one of Fireman's arms. Noticing Fireman could be deleted, Mr. Match jacked Fireman out before the final blow could be deliver. Well of course the day is saved and the fire was put out as Mayl was rushed to the local hosiptal. Net knew that Rockman was the greatest, and that day forth, Rockman and Net was a team, while Dekao cried like a baby after Gutsman's deletion.
