Ryoko loves Tenchi with all her heart. But with her outgoing and cunning personality, she loves to have fun and make Ayeka jealous.
Ryoko loves to have fun and party. She always drinks her favorite, a rice wine called sake. Nobody is greater than Ryoko!
OAV
Ryoko was created by the mad scientist, Washu. Ryoko was created by Washu's egg cells and the masses. Washu is Ryoko's mother and the masses are her father. Ryoko became the oblivious spate pirate. Being the cunning space pirate she is, she travels on her spaceship, Ryo-oki. After Ryo-oki crashed on earth, she turned into a cabbit, a cat and a rabbit.
Ryoko was trapped in a cave near the masaki shrine for 700 years. Yosho, the prince of Jurai, locked her in there because she tried to steal her 3 gems from him but they are stored in Sword Tenchi.
Tenchi went into the cave and broke Ryoko free, but not knowing it. Now she lives with him and is in love with him. She would do anything for him and won't let anyone hurt him. Even though she and Ayeka fight over him everyday, she knows she will get him one day.
Universe
In Tenchi Universe, we don't know where Ryoko came from. All we know is that she is from somewhere in outer space. Since she is a space pirate, she was being chased by Mihoshi, Galaxy Police First Class Detective, and crashed on planet earth. Tenchi was near and found her and rescued her. She told him that she was being chased by a space pirate. Little did Tenchi know, Ryoko was the space pirate and was being chased by the police. Mihoshi eventually said that she was the police and the space pirate Ryoko's true identity was revealed. Now, Ryoko lives with Tenchi and is madly in love with him. Like in OAV, she fights over him everyday with Ayeka.
