Darien and Princess Serenity were both killed. Queen Serenity used her last strength to conquer Queen Beryl by banishing them back to the Negaforce. When Luna found Serena, she gave her a special locket that was only for this special girl. That locket...allowed Serena to transform into Sailor Moon!
