Tomoe Hotaru, 16, born Jan. 6, 1982 (yes I am aware that technically now she would be 18, but I'm speaking in terms of the show). Her mother died in a fire when she was two years old, and her father was possessed for a good deal of time starting when she was about five. Such an incident sprouted from an accident during one of her father's (Proffessor Tomoe) experiments and Hotaru herself was caught up in it. She almost died, but her father turned her into a cyborg so that she might be raised to become the Messiah of Silence. Hotaru was a very sad child. Kaolinite always mistreated her, and no one at school would speak to her because of her wierd powers. She had both healed a student and also once scared the pants off another by an unusual show of stregnth. Her seizures kept her in the house a lot, as well, and she was very weak.

When Hotaru met the sunshiny Chibi Usa, however, was when things were beginning to change for both better and worse. On one side, the time for battle was approaching rapidly, and on the other side Hotaru also was making new friends. The inner scouts protected Hotaru, too, although the outer scouts wanted to get rid of her to keep the end of the world from coming. At the end of the third season, Hotaru became Misstress 9... Who Hotaru destroyed, so that she became Sailor Saturn and went into the other dimension to destroy Pharoh 90. When Sailor Moon reappeared with her, she was only a baby. Nephrenia was freed by Galaxia, however, for the purpose of awakening Sailor Saturn (so that all the star seeds would be mature, at least in the anime). She grew fast until she was her right age again, and from there joined the others. As this "reborn" version of Hotaru, she is a lot cuter and more like she should've been: a happy kid. Although, she is still very mature.

Sailor Saturn is the senshi of death and rebirth, her main attack being "Death Reborn Revoloution". This attack she uses twice, once during Beryl's attack on the Moon Kingdom and another time to destroy Pharoh 90, as it will destroy a whole world. Her other attacks are Silence Glaive Surprise and Silence Wall.
