Epilogue

Two years later…

Kento fed the baby in his arms. He was almost afraid to hold him at first, but Alexandra coaxed him into it. He smiled down at the beautiful child in his arms.

"Rowen, he looks just like you!"

"They both do, hardhead," Sage said. "That’s why they’re identical."

Rowen answered, "I think they favor Alexandra more."

Sage was holding the other baby. "Which one did you say I had?"

"Nathan," Alexandra answered. She handed Sage a bottle. He eyed it, but he took it. He was afraid the four-month-old child would spit up on his clothes.

Everyone was gathered in the living room of Rowen and Alexandra Hashiba’s new house. Alexandra was getting quite adept at living in the 21st century. Six months after returning, Rowen and Alexa got married. Five months later, she was pregnant. At first, she was scared to tell him, but he was going to be a father and he needed to know. He didn’t believe her. She didn’t expect him to nor did she try to convince him. Instead, she just took her scheduled trips to the doctor. He noticed her eating habits changed and then her stomach started to swell. She gave birth to identical twin boys. Rowen was beside himself. Of course, Sage, Ryo, Kento, and Cye had gathered at the hospital for this. Rowen was the first out of the five of them to get married and have children. They wanted the boys to be named Rowen Jr. and Alexander. Rowen and Alexa didn’t like that. They wanted their sons to have their own names.

"Rowen, Nick just hit me!" Kento wailed.

That caused the baby to cry. Rowen jumped up in a blue flash and took the crying child from Kento. The baby stopped crying when he saw his daddy. Rowen walked around, gently rocking the child.

"It’s okay, baby, Daddy will beat up Uncle Kento for you."

"I didn’t even do anything! Alexandra!"

She laughed. "Sorry, Kento. I usually don’t interfere in my husbands affairs, especially with his friends, but when it comes to my children, I take his side."

Rowen stuck his tongue out. Soon, baby Nicholas was sleep. Nathaniel fell asleep in Sage’s arms almost at the same time. That was one thing Rowen and Alexa loved. Most nights, the children went to sleep at the same time.

Alexandra took Nathaniel from Sage and she and Rowen went to put the boys down in the nursery. Before going back to their guests, Rowen took Alexandra in his arms.

"Rowen, what are we going to tell the children when they ask us how we met?"

"Well just say that Daddy took a long trip, met Mommy, and the rest is history."
