He could make out some kids on hover boards in the darkness up ahead, “Heh, perfect.” Anarchy elbowed one of them off their board and stepped onto his new transport. “Yoink.” He grinned.

“HEY!! GET BACK HERE YOU JERK!” The startled kid managed to splutter as his attacker sped off into the distance.

The thief continued through the neon lit city within the ship until he reached a passage to the lower levels. Scorch marks were all around the outside, and blood red graffiti greeted anyone that entered, but he had no time to be picky. Police sirens were growing louder behind him, there wasn’t much time. He jumped with the skateboard and landed on a rusty hand rail that led to the subway. Leaving a trail of sparks he grinded down the rail, the wind rushing through his auburn hair.

He smiled, this is the life, this is how it’s meant to be. Who wants to be a freakin’ Hunter anyways?

The rail’s end approached, Anarchy flipped off the board and landed on his feet, staring into a half demolished subway station.

“Whew, that was a close one. Now, where’s that warp?” He glanced around the dimly lit station. It was pretty dilapidated; it can’t have been in use for a while. A small purple lit arrow pointed to a closed steel door. He walked slowly towards it. The door was crusted with grime and dirt, and he was sure there were some plasma burns… A noise behind him.

“Holy shit!” The startled would be HUmar span, DB’s Saber drawn, its teal glow softly lighting up the room. “Who’s there?”

Another noise.

“C’mon show yourself coward!”

Nothing. Anarchy quickly spun again and slammed the blade of his saber into the door’s control panel. Sparks flew up into his face, searing him. But it had the desired effect, the door flew open, and there, as expected, was a warp. The grin returned to Anarchy’s face, he was going to escape, again. He stepped into the warp, the door straining to a close behind him, and vanished in a blue haze.

A marble plaque stood before the two, it seemed like a grave, a tomb maybe. Dirx frowned, he didn’t like things like this one bit. He looked over to Delen, she smiled worriedly, and nodded. Dirx screwed up his eyes, turning away. Pumpkin stood there, silently looking on into nothingness, will this be it? None of them knew, but TC knew there was only one way to find out. He touched the tomb.

The planet shook, howling in pain, the pillar before them shone brightly firing up pulses of light into the sky. The sky cracked, a blood red vein opened across the azure splendour that surrounded it, but quickly became a sheet of black. The group were plunged into all consuming darkness. The grass began to melt away below them, and the ground moaned with a thousand sorrows as faces replaced each blade of grass, souls of passed creatures yelling out for deliverance from their hellish tomb, desperately trying to break to the surface. TC and Dirx quickly dashed back to their companions as the moans became louder, almost deafening them.

“This isn’t good is it…” Delen glanced at Pumpkin.

“Understatement of the century.” He replied, grimacing.

“*bzzt* God damn! *bzzt* We’re brea- *bzzt* up *bzzt* looks li-*bzzt* you’re *bzzt* your own. *bzzt* Good lu-” Zev mustered before the comms went down.

The moaning was thundering around the group now, speeding up, they readied their weapons.
