- Dark Schneider-The main character of Bastard!, Dark Schneider aka Darche is an immortal sorceror who's goal in life is to take over toe world, kill all the men and take the women for himself. - Luche Ren Ren-. Luche Len Len is the young boy that "housed" Dark Schneider for fifteen years. Luche and Schneider are one...whatever one feels the other feels.
- Tia Yoko-Tia Yoko is the one that broke the seal keeping Dark Schneider imprisoned in Luche Len Len's body. The curse can only be broken by a kiss from a virgin. Another kiss will once more imprison Schneider. However, during the course of the story, Schneider gains the ability to break the seal himself. He was able to do this out of his love for Yoko.
Yoko has a fondness for Luche but is beginning to learn to love Dark Schneider. She always calls Dark Schneider, Luche...emphasizing that Luche and Schneider are really one person.
She isn't a plain sweet lil girl who cannot defend herself ... its just that she somehow ends up in the clutches of the enemy. She is also the daughter of the High Priest Geo of Metallicana.
- Princess Sheila-When Yoko was kidnapped, Sheila kissed Luche to break the seal and free Dark Schneider. I think that from that time on, she had a crush on Schneider.
Princess Sheila keeps a secret with her. Besides being the next ruler of Metallicana, she also carries in her body the fourth and final seal which keeps Antharax in his eternal sleep.
- Gara-Ninja Master Gara was once a follower of Dark Schneider but after Schneider's defeat fifteen years ago, he began to serve Abigail. He commands an army of ninjas and he owns a castle.
- Arshes Nei-Dark Schneider's lover, daughter,and student. She is half dark elf and half human. When war broke between the dark elves and the wood elves, she was abandoned by the dark elf clan that raised her. Dark Schneider took her in. Eventually they became lovers for 100 years. Arshes affectionately calls Schneider, Darshu.
Through the course of the story, Arshes is torn between her loyalties with Abigail and her feelings for Darshu. She loves Darshu very much but Abigail cursed her with the spell Accused. The spell forces her to fight Darshu. If she does not kill him, she will die and turn into a toad. Only Darshu's death and blood can release her from the spell
- Efreet- The fire elemental that Dark Schneider defeated. He stays as a fire sword that Darshe uses.

Review-Bastard! is one of those series that is cut short before the series can go anywhere. Being a six episode ova, it dosen't cover everything that is in the manga. The good news is that the episodes themselves are great. The way that dark schneider is portrayed is so cool. He is the kind of guy that you know you should hate, but he is so cool that you can't help but admire him. The art was ok for the series but
i've seen worse. Overall this series is a good short series that is not too expensive to purchase and is fun to watch.
