Digi Charat (Dejiko-chan) is a cheery (but brassy) 10-year old girl who is actually the crown princess of Planet Di Gi Charat. To escape evil invaders from a neighboring planet, the princess and her companions Puchiko and Gema are shuttled off to Earth. But once the plucky threesome get here, they find themselves penniless and homeless. Dejiko sets off to find a job and maybe become a super actress, too.

Characters

• Dejiko(Aka: DiGi Charat, Chocola-hime) -A Princess from the planet DiGi Charat. She is a conniving, yet sweet little girl who thinks too old for her age! Her favorite thing is to get her own way. She has come to Earth to be an idol singer. Her special ability is to shoot beams from her eyes ("Me kara BEAM")
  
• Puchiko(Aka: Petit Charat) -Another princess, she is Dejiko's little sister. She is a cute little girl, who has a tendency to say the obvious. Her special Ability is also "Me kara BEAM", but she is still learning how to use it.
  
• Gema Gema->-A yellow sponge-ball that is Dejiko and Puchiko's guardian. He has no known special powers, and is a very worried entity!
  
• Rabi en Rose(Aka: Usada Hikaru) -The most average person in this show, she was abandoned by her parents at a young age, because according to them, a life of poverty is the first step in becoming an idol. She has a dice gimmick, and wears them all the time. Her father gave her dice as a goodbye gift, so she's kind of attached to them.She can use her bunny ears as a helicopter blade!
  
• Bukimi -Takeshi and Yoshimi(two fan boys) jointly, called "bukimi" because Dejiko combined and mixed up the kanji for their names once.
  
• Houke Mirin-A pet cat or stuffed animal cat (can't really tell, it's never explained) of Puchiko's. Appears way later in the tv series, and has no introduction, it just isn't there one second, there the next
  
• "What the hell is that"-A strange bear Dejiko and Puchiko found while picnicing. It eats things (like Godzilla?!?!) and is generally creepy. He sits in front of Gamers in a box with a sign on it that says: "Take me please, I am free"
  
• Minagawa Takuro-A shy little boy who is afraid of occult things and can exorcise angry clam spirits. He is a fan of Rabi~en~Rose, and likes to eat things off the ground.
  
• Kimura Takuro- a bishounen who is anal about grammar and beautiful things. Always has a flower in his lapel (it changes every scene!) and adores Puchiko, even though she ends her sentences with the dialect suffix "nyu".
  
• Abarenbou-A crazy naked blue person with a teardrop head. His stomach says "abarenbou", which means "Hooligan". He is a crazy thing that runs in and spouts random stuff, mostly made up memories of a past that didn't happen. He likes to shake his shiny butt around a lot.
  
• Pyoko (Aka: Pyocola Analogue III, Panda Brat " Panda Musame")-She is the leader of the Black Gema Gema Dan, a terrorist group that is at war with Planet DiGi Charat. She is annoying, enjoys being a bad girl, tormenting Dejiko, whom she calls "Oneesan". She has a group of boys following her around called PKO-Pyocola Keeping Operation. Her special ability is the "Kuchikara BAZOOKA"
