Yu Yu Hakusho Episode Guide
Ok, I'll try the best I can with this, but I'll probably be getting most of my information from the
Official Yu Yu Hakusho Website. You can't expect me to know every thing off the top of my head can you? Oh, and this site is page is really a spoiler if you haven't seen the episode, just so you know now! Oh, and E-mail me if you have anything to tell me that I don't have, but don't E-mail me if the page isn't even done yet.
Episode 1: Surprised to be Dead
Fourteen-year-old Yusuke Urameshi is just an average kid. He cuts classes, gets into arguments with teachers, gets into fist fights with his rival, and has problems with his mom. He decides to go to school and he gets ragged on by every one, but he also never goes. Oh and he's the toughest guy in town too, so he does have to maintain his reputation, even though he does get pushed around by his girl friend, Kayko. Then he meets this little kid, and he ends up jumping in front of a car to save the kids life at the cost of his own, and he becomes a ghost.
Episode 2: Koenma Appears
When our hero Yusuke is dead, he gets greeted by the spirited Botan, the "Grim Reaper". She explains what has happened and tells him that he wasn't really supposed to die, boy it must really suck to find out that you died in vain. Botan brings Yusuke to the Spirit World, where he meets Koenma, the guy in charge while his fathers away, and learns about the task he has to complete to get his life back. Oddly enough, he has to hatch a Spirit Beast that will bite off his head if he is negative.
Episode 3: Kuwabara: A Promise Between Men
Yusuke's rival, Kuwabara, is tormented by his death. He lost all 156 of his fights against Yusuke, and now he can't even settle the score because Yusuke's dead! But since Yusuke's not around, he's the new guy to beat. And even though Yusuke doesn't like the guy, he's going to need help to win back his life, so he's going to give him a helping hand. Sorry, I don't remember much about this, I just basically copied what I saw on the official web, E-mail me if you know anything!
Episode 4: Requirements for Lovers
Yusuke has to hatch his Spirit beast, and they send an Inspector to spend the day with him. The Inspector wants to find out if any one wants him back, and spends the day observing Kayko to find out what kind of relationship they have. Yusuke’s house is a complete mess, and there are people going around lighting people’s house’s on fire. Yusuke’s house becomes one of the targets, and Kayko goes into the house to save his body. The fire gets worse and blocks her way to the exit though, and Yusuke has to make the choice of saving his life, or saving Kayko’s. He throws his Spirit Egg into the fire and it hatches pre-maturely and saves Kayko, but Yusuke can’t use it to bring himself back to life now. But, Koenma decides to give him another chance because of his selfless act.
Episode 5: Yusuke's Back
His second chance at coming back to life has to do with his body's wave links being intune with the spirit ones or something. Any ways, his body's going to glow gold and some one has to kiss him to bring him back to life. Kuwabara was way too freaked out to even think about kising a guy, and Yusuke couldn't get in touch with his mom. His last hope was Kayko, but her mother feel ill and was in the hospital so Kayko was going to spend all night there. In a desperate attempt to help Yusuke, Botan flies off to the hospital and speaks to Kayko through her mothers body, who was asleep. Kayko rushes off to Yusuke's hjouse, only to find that it's almost midnight. She makes it in and kisses Yusuke just in time and brings him back to life. The next day Yusuke goes around to see what has happened since he was dead, it seems that Kuwabara was in charge of his old terf now, but some guys from another area were trying to take over. Yusuke follows them when they go for a "walk" with Kuwabara. When Kuwabara refuses to hit his friends, they threaten to kill his uh, kitten. Yusuke saves the kitten in time and they all beat up that gang. Then Yusuke goes and chases after the leader, and when he hits him, a little demon thin comes out of his mouth. Yusuke catches it then Botan appears and says he's a Spirit Detective and blah, blah, blah.
