Aramend's DigiFiction Contest

Yep, thats right. THE CONTEST WILL NOT BEGIN UNTIL I HAVE FOUND JUDGES AND GET THE PROPER ENTRIES! IF YOU WANT TO BE IN THE CONTEST, SUBMIT YOUR FIC, BUT NOTHING WILL BEGIN UNTIL I HAVE JUDGES FOR THE FICS.Any seasons will be excepted for this contest.Now, all of you know, this is a taito/yamachi fansite, but i welcome work about any coupling, and this fanfic contest is a way to give very good but little known fics great publicity. I really like reading fanfics, thats part of the reason I started this contest. The fanfic contest will be held every two months, the first month will be for submissions, while the second will be for the judges to read the fics. Voting for Best In Contest fics will take place a week and a half before all winners are chosen.

Judges:

I do not have any judges for the fics right now, and i will need about eight, so two judges per category except for Best In Contest. All the judges, including me will participate in choosing the Best In Contest winner. The two judges will read the five nominees and then both will choose one fic they thought was the best, if they both choose the same fic it will automatically win in that category. If they both choose a different fic, then I will choose which of the two is the winner in that category. Judges can also submit fics for the contest, but they will judge a category their fic is not in. If a judge submits a fic and the only openings left for judging is the category their fic is in, they can either remove their fic from the contest and judge, or quit as a judge and just leave their fic in the competition. If you would like to be a judge or if you have any questions send ane-mail to me and make the e-mail subject 'Fanfiction Judge' I will give the jobs out on a first-come first-serve basis so if you are interested e-mail me as soon as possbile and include which category you want to judge in the contest. I need people with at least enough time on their hands to read the fics and choose a winner. There The fanfics will be seperated into the following catergories:

Best Drama/Angst

Best Humor

Best Action/Adventure

Best Romance(includes Yaoi/yuri fics)

Best Fic in Contest

Now i will explain things, first of all, ONLY FOUR FICS PER CATEGORY ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS! If you want to submit a fic for the contest, YOU MUST SEND ME THE FIC PASTED IN THE E-MAIL! I do not accept any e-mails sent with attachments in word or any other form. Paste the fic in the e-mail then send. Multi-part fics MUST BE SENT IN COMPLETE! Multi-part fics will not have any special category, they will be in based on the type that they are. Make the subject 'Contest Submission'and in the e-mail, include a short summary and the type of fic.
Example: Searching for justice. Summary: Tai is killed and now someone innocent might pay. Type:angst. No couplings.
The fic will be entered in the categories based on what type it is.

Maximum Amount of Submissions Per Person

will be two, they both can't be in the same category. If one is a multi-category, it will be entered in the category that the other fic isnt in. If both fics are multi-category and both fit into the same categories, they you must e-mail me telling me which category you want the first and second in based on were they fit in the categories.

Drama/Angst Fics:

As long as the fic has some kind of tragedy or really sad plot, and it's well written, it's in.

Humor Fics:

Please do not send any retarded humor fics. If you want to send a humor fic it must have some kind of plot, please do not make it five pages of total stupidity with no plot. It will be deleted immediatly and you will not be able to submit any fics for the current contest. If you already have fics sent in they will be removed from judging. I want a fic with at least some plot. It needs to make some sense. For this reason, any humor fics that involve the stupid dumbass plot of the digimon characters on Jerry Springer will not be allowed. Now don't get me wrong, i'm a huge fan of Jerry, but i have read alot of the Springer/digimon fics and they are retarded. If you manage to make a humor fic that involves Jerry, and it has an actual plot besides them acting stupid on his show, i will make an exception.

Action/Adventure:

Ok, this is pretty much self-explanitory. Pretty much any fic that involves some kind of moving around or adventure to reach a goal will be accepted.

Romance Fics:

As for romance fics, ok listen, I don't care what the couple is, if the fic is well-written and good, then it will be entered. I don't care if its yaoi, yuri, or straight coupling, and no, even though I am a huge yamachi/taito fan, if you submit a taito/yamachi fic IT WILL NOT BE GIVEN ANY SPECIAL CONSIDERATION! All the fics will be judged fairly. For obvious reasons, none of my fics will ever be allowed in the contest, so that way everything will be fair.

I have no problem with lemons as long as it has at least SOME plot. I won't accept any pwp, it needs to have some kind of storyline

Best in Contest Fics:

These fics will only be entered in this category if they win in their respective category.
Example: If one fic wins in the best angst/drama category,it will be qualified for Best in Contest. You cannot enter your fic in this category, it will only be entered if your fic wins in it's respective category!
If one fic wins in more than one category it will still be entered. If you submit a fic to the contest you are giving us permission to enter your fic in the Best in Contest if your fic wins in its respective category.
