Inuyasha- Inuyasha is a Hanyou, half human half demon. he is also a dog-demon. He's also the lord of the western lands, with his older brother as well. His sword, that his father gave him, can kill hundreds with one stroke. He is a bit mean, rude, unkind, nosey, uptight, untrustworthy, and mean, but deep down he's a loving and very protective person. In the feudal era no one accepts Hanyou, so he sought out a jewel called the Jewel of the four Souls, the Shikon No Tama, it grants anyone there wish, to become fall demon. But in the end he fall in love the jewel's protector, the priestess named Kikyo. Kikyo, believing Inuyasha had Betrayed her, sealed him to a tree with her arrow, also  dieing that very day. Fifty years later a girl, named Kagome, released him. His relationship with Kagome is a bit confusing, seeing she's Kikyo's reincarnation, but Inuyasha loves her. But he also loves Kikyo. 

Kagome-She a girl from 20th century Japan. She was pulled into a well and entered the feudal era. A time when demons lived. There she found out that she was an ancient priestess names Kikyo's reincarnation. Also in the past she released a Hanyou named Inuyasha. At first Inuyasha wished to kill Kagome, for she now had the jewel. With a rosary necklace she could bring him down to the ground. But Kagome had no idea what she was doing, until it was to late. With an arrow Kagome shatters the jewel into thousands of pieces, and now her and Inuyasha are on a quest to find them. As time past Kagome soon falls in love with Inuyasha, but he still loves Kikyo.

Shippo- Shippo is a full fox-demon. Like Inuyasha, Shippo became in orphan at a young age. He runs into Inuyasha and Kagome and stales there jewel shards to revenge his father's death. After the battle, that Inuyasha had one, Shippo joins Kagome and Inuyasha on their quest for the jewel shards. Shippo see Kagome as a mother. Too Inuyasha Shippo's a brat. Shippo makes Inuyasha mad all the time.

Miroku- Miroku is a Monk. Not a very good one. He's a pervert. He asks every women to bear his child, even Kagome, all but Sango. For Miroku's right hand is cursed. Every male in his family will have a black hole in their right hand, that will kill them one day, until the last of his family line or until the death of Naraku, for he put the cures there. Miroku joins Inuyasha and Kagome in hope to kill Naraku.

Sango- Sango is a demon exterminator. In a fight Sango's little brother Kuraku kills her father and friends, and wounds her. In the end Naraku kills her little brother, but puts a jewel shard in him to keep him alive, somewhat. As she heals from her wounds she hears that Inuyasha destroyed her village. To revenge her village she goes after Inuyasha, but fines out that Naraku is the one that destroyed it. Sango joins the group to revenge her village and try to save her little brother.

Kikyo- Kikyo was the Priestess of the jewel of four souls fifty years ago. In a fight between her and Inuyasha Kikyo loses her life. But not until she sealed Inuyasha to a tree. Kikyo tells her little sister Keade to burn her body with the jewel. Later the jewel exits Kagome's body when she comes. Kikyo latter is remade from her bones and clay and steals put of Kagome's soul to live again. But this time she refuses to return to hell unless Inuyasha is at her side.

Keade- Keade is the younger sister to Kikyo. As a kid Keade watch as her sister dead and the sealing of Inuyasha. Keade grow up and became the priestess of the village her and her sister lived in. Later Keade befriends Inuyasha after he is released from the tree.

Naraku- Naraku is a hanyou, like Inuyasha. He seeks out the jewel to also be a fall demon. But he also fall in love with Kikyo. Know that her heart belonged to Inuyasha. Naraku sat up a plan to make Kikyo and Inuyasha betray each other. In the end Kikyo dies and Inuyasha was sealed to the tree. Also the jewel destroyed. Later he searches for the jewel shards and Inuyasha swears he will kill Naraku for killing Kikyo and making them betray one another.

Sesshoumaru- Sesshoumaru is Inuyasha's older brother. Unlike Inuyasha he is fall dog-demon. As the older lord of the western lands. Sesshoumaru hates humans, but later on begin to like them. He has a sword in which his father gave him. It can bring people back to live, but can not cut. Unlike Inuyasha's sword that can kill hundreds in one stroke. the human that follows him is a eight year old named Rin.
