Aeris Gainsborough Age: 22 Date of Birth: Febuaray 7 Birthplace: Unknown Hair: Brown Eyes: Green Height: 5'3 Blood type: O Weapon: Rod Job: Flower Merchant A beautiful 22-year-old, Aeris is a bright spot in the middle of a dark and dreary town. While selling flowers near AVALANCHE's first target, Aeris' life was forever altered after a chance meeting with Cloud. Because of her mysterious background, Shinra has pursued her for most of her life. Now she must fight against those who would enslave her and destroy what she holds most dear. Aeris is the closest character Final Fantasy VII has to a dedicated magic user. Her physical attacks are fairly weak, but she possesses great skill with Materia and its various forms. Due to this odd balance, you should put her in your back line and load her down with Materia. Let Aeris devote her energies to spell casting while her teammates concentrate on inflicting physical damage. This also takes advantage of her defensive-based Limit Breaks. Aeris was raised in the Midgar Sector 5 Slums, and grows flowers to sell on the street, which is how she met Cloud. Soon after this, she decided to join him. When she was only a child, her biological mother died, and she was raised by a woman who had found her wandering about. She is a member of an ancient race, and therefore is able to forsee her own destiny and listen to the voice of the planet. She is aggressive, very courageous, and a bit adversarial. Aeris is perhaps one of the most important characters to keep in your party. She has low HP, but her MP is high, and her Limit Breaks are VERY useful. Aeris was born at Icicle Inn (Nothern Continent); her biologoical parents being Professor Gast and the Anicient Ilfanda. Gast was hiding Ilfanda from Shinra at a building in small town; they soon fell in love and yada - Aeris was born. The Shinra find out where Gast is hiding; they kill Gast and Ilfanda runs off with Aeris. After running for years they ended up in Midgar, unfortunately, the Shinra catch up with them and kill Ilfanda at the Midgar train station. A lady named Elmyra was there at the moment, and Ilfanda tells Elmyra to take care of Aeris. From then on, Elmyra raised Aeris and Aeris was still being tracked down by Shinra; mainly the Turks. Since Ilfanda was an Ancient, that made Aeris an Ancient too. It is believed that the Ancients (Who call themselves the Cetra) can lead everyone to the legendary Promised Land; that's why Shinra want to capture Aeris so badly. Since the Promised Land is supposedly peaceful and stuff, they figure that there's lots of Mako there. Personality: Aeris is quite the happy little girl, she seems to have control of her life and knows things that others don't understand quite yet. At times she wonders alone to think, but is always opened to others if they ask her anything. She is very determined to do what she sets her mind to and always tries to look for the best in all situations.
