Biographies of the Z Fighters in Dragon Ball Z and GT
Son Gohan:
Gohan is the first son of Goku and Chi Chi. After Gohan was born, Chi Chi had declared that Gohan would become a great scholar someday. Unfortunately, Goku really wanted to make Gohan a strong fighter. On the first episode of Dragon Ball Z, you see Gohan for the first time. Gohan has an incredible hidden power within him that can only be triggered when he is in danger. Gohan doesn't like to fight, but when he has no other choice, he does. Gohan could easily be stronger than everyone, but because of studying and his fear of fighting, he is one of the weaker ones. When Gohan gets older, he marries a girl named Videl, Hercule's daughter, and has a girl named Pan.
Son Goku / Kakarrot:
The star of the show! Kakarrot is a Saiyan sent from Planet Vegeta to take over and empty out Planet Earth. When Kakarrot arrived on Earth, an old man named Grandpa Gohan picked Kakarrot up and named him 'Goku'. Since then, Goku had been living with Grandpa Gohan and one day fell off a cliff and bumped his head. After this incident, Goku forgot all about his mission to destroy Earth and instead, became Earth's hero. Goku faces many new challenges and usually ends up winning. The only people who ever called him Kakarrot were Raditz, Turles and Vegeta.
Son Goten:
Goten is the second son of Goku and Chi Chi, and the brother of Gohan. Goten had been born just after the Cell Games. Goku hadn't got to meet him until Goten was 8-yrs-old and when Goku got to come back to Earth for one day. Goten is very strong for his age. He is even a Super Saiyan at age 8. He is a funny character and an often misjudged person.
Mirai Trunks:
Future Trunks came to the present time to warn Goku and his friends about 2 deadly androids that were going to be activated in 3 years. There were things that he brought along with him. Cell, Android 16, 19 and 20. In his time, none of these existed. When he came, this present time had been altered. Cell stole his ship and came with it 1 yr before Trunks did. Android 16 was activated by 17 and 18 in the present timeline and androids 19 and 20 arrived when and where Trunks said androids 17 and 18 would show up. He plays a short part in DBZ, but makes a difference. He is very strong and he is the first Saiyan to go Ultra Super Saiyan, muscles pumped, speed gone. He is the son of Bulma and Vegeta in his timeline.
Trunks:
Trunks, in the present timeline, is still the son of Bulma and Vegeta. Like Goten, he is a Super Saiyan at a young age. He is one year older than Goten. Trunks is also misjudged a lot like Goten.
Krillin:
Krillin is Goku's bald, childhood best friend. Krillin met Goku in Dragon Ball when they were both training under Kame Sen'nin (Master Roshi). At that time, Krillin considered Goku as his rival. Later on, he became Goku's best friend. Goku and Krillin continue as best friends and help eachother with enemies. Krillin is the weakest Z-Fighter, but the Strongest human alive.
Piccolo:
Piccolo was Goku's fiercest enemy in Dragon Ball. He is the evil half of Kami, but later on they fuse into one. Piccolo is Gohan's first best friend, and his first sensei. Piccolo kidnaps Gohan and lets him train on his own in the wild to become braver and ready for Nappa and Vegeta. Since Gohan became his friend, Piccolo had become Goku's good friend and Gohan's master. Piccolo may be weak compared to the SSJs, but he is the strongest Namekian alive. Piccolo dies at the end of the Baby saga along with the Earth.
Pan:
Pan is the daughter of Gohan and Videl. She is stubborn and sweet, but can be really powerful when she is angry. She is only 1/4 Saiyan, and even though people think she can go SSJ, she can't. She is seen the first time at the end of DBZ when Goku is training Goten. In DBGT, she plays a big role along with Goku and Trunks. Pan, Goku, Goku jr. and Vegeta jr. are the only ones shown on the last episode of DBGT.
Vegeta:
Vegeta is the Prince of Saiyans and he has lots of Pride. He is a total jerk in 3/4 of DBZ, but then, he shows respect to Goku and becomes a nice guy. Vegeta is very strong and becomes Goku's friend in DBGT. He did not go SSJ3 in the whole series. He went SSJ4 to help Goku against the Dark Shenrons.
Gotenks:
Fusion of Goten and Trunks. Gotenks was the second and last person to go SSJ3. Gotenks never went SSJ2. He is very strong and holds off well against Majin Buu. Gotenks isn't shown for a long time in DBZ, but he does a lot while he's there.
Vegito:
Vegito is the first fusion of Goku and Vegeta with the Potaru Earrings, the earrings given by the old Kai. Vegito doesn't play a big part in DBZ, but he matches off with Buu very well until he swallowed up.
Gogeta:
Gogeta appears 2 times. First time is in Movie 12, in the fight against Janemba in Hell. Goku and Vegeta had trouble fusing, but once they got it right, SSJ2 Gogeta was very powerful. Second time is in DBGT. Goku and Vegeta fuse as SSJ4s and create SSJ4 Gogeta. This version is hilarious, but VERY strong. He takes good care of Li Shenron, until he wastes his good time and goes back to Goku and Vegeta. The difference between these 2 are that SSJ2 Gogeta was more serious, and SSJ4 Gogeta was sloppy.
