Kagome Higurashi was a normal schoolgirl living at a history-filled Japanese Shrine. That is until the day of her 15th birthday. On that day she accidentally fell into the old, abandoned, sealed well located on the shrine grounds. She finds herself transported to the Warring States Era. There she finds a boy with doggy ears pinned to the ancient God Tree. She is taken by some villagers and mistaken to be some sort of spy or demon. She later finds out that she is the reincarnation of the dead priestess Kikyo who protected the sacred Shikon no Tama. In order to save herself from a demon that was after the Shikon no Tama, which was found inside of her body, she releases the half demon InuYasha. While trying to get the jewel back from a different demon, Kagome accidentally shatters the jewel into many different shards that scatter all over the world. From that day forth her and InuYasha set out on a journey to collect the fragments of the Shikon no Tama. She never knew that that day would change her life forever.
Appearance: Kagome is medium height with black hair that reaches to her lower back. She has brown eyes. She is usually found wearing her school uniform that consists of a white long-sleeved shirt with a green collar and handcuffs (not metal things) and a red tie/bow and a green skirt that goes down to the middle of her thighs.
Personality: Kagome is a very kind hearted person. She puts others before herself. She can be quite scary when she is mad, but she’s the type of friend you would turn to if you were sad and down in the dumps. Kagome is a very strong person, emotionally and mental, otherwise how would she be able to deal with InuYasha?
Family & Friends: Kagome’s father is never mentioned, but she has a younger brother named Souta, a mother, a grandpa, and a cat named Buoy. Kagome has three friends (don’t know their names, sorry). She also has a friend named Hojo, but he seems to like Kagome a bit more than a friend, however Kagome doesn’t see them as more then friends. Also don’t forget about Kagome’s friends in the Warring States Era, Sango the demon exterminator, Miroku the perverted monk, Shippo the fox kit, Keade the older priestess and Kikyo’s younger sister, Kouga the wolf demon who claims that he loves Kagome, Myoga the flea, and of course the sometimes arrogant InuYasha.
