Sango is part of a tribe known as the demon exterminators. Sango joined the InuYasha gang they helped her fight Naraku. Naraku had tricked Sango, her family, and some of her fellow exterminators into coming to get rid of a demon. In turn Naraku took control of Sango’s younger brother’s body, Kohaku, to kill their father and fellow exterminators. He then had Kohaku turn on Sango. Kohaku attacked Sango, but didn’t kill her. He then snapped out of his trance only to be killed by Naraku. Sango barely managed to survive and when she returns to her village she finds it in ruins and all the inhabitants dead. However, Naraku used a shard of the Shikon no Tama to bring Kohaku back from the dead and use him as a weapon against Sango. Now, Sango is out to revenge her tribe and to try and get Kohaku back from Naraku’s clutches.
Appearance: Sango has two different outfits. One is her normal robes. They include a purple and white thick striped kimono with a green skirt over it and a pair of sandals. In this outfit her brown medium lengthen hair is down with a ribbon around the end of her hair. Her other outfit is her demon exterminator outfit. It is a tight black jumpsuit with bright pink armor on her shoulders, elbows, and knees. At certain times she also has a facemask that covers her nose and mouth. When she wears this outfit her hair is up in a high ponytail. Also she always carries around her large boomerang, which is made from a demon’s bone, no matter what she is wearing.
Personality: Sango is a very kind person. Although her past is full of pain she still lives on. She a very determined and strong-willed person. She also cares a lot about her friends, especially Kagome since Kagome is the closest friend she had ever had (besides for maybe Kiara).
Family & Friends: Sango’s mother is never mentioned in the series. Her whole family was made of demon exterminators. She had a father and a younger brother Kohaku. Kohaku, who was under Naraku’s spell, killed her father. Soon after Naraku killed Kohaku, but brought him back using a jewel shard to use against Sango. Sango also has her faithful demon partner/pet Kiara. After Sango joins the InuYasha group she quickly becomes best friends with Kagome and just friends with InuYasha, Miroku, Keade, and Shippo.
