Chapter 3
Comfort in strange arms

NOTE: warning: a little bit of Yaoi.

I gently smiled, seeing Mokuba had fallen into a deep sleep. I slowly covered him and left his room. I gulped, finding Jou standing there. "Ka come here." he said as he opened his arms. I stared at him quietly, at first, but then went into his arms. Jou gently lifted me up. "I’m sorry. I let my anger get control of me tonight." Jou whispered.

I had no idea why I did go in his arms. Maybe I wasn’t ready to give up another father, or maybe it was the fact that he might hurt Seto again, or, even worse, Mokuba. Seto and I could handle some hits, but Mokuba... Well, let's just say I didn’t want him to lose that happiness in him. I looked at Seto, who stood behind Jou. He was bandaged up. He nodded slowly, telling me it was ok to trust him, even after earlier.

"Seto, get some sleep." Jou said gently, opening Seto's door for him. Seto didn’t move. I could see he was worried about me and didn't want to leave me alone with Jou. Jou looked over, making eye contact with the thirteen-year-old. Seto sighed deeply and went in his room, taking one last look at me before shutting the door. He was scared. I started to shiver as I thought of what Jou was going to do to me, for finding out what he had been doing to Seto.

Jou gently looked at me after Seto's door had shut. "How long have you been doing that to Seto?" I asked, not looking at him.

I felt him freeze. "Look at me when you talk." he muttered.

I slowly turned to him. "Well?" I asked in a lower tone.

He sighed. "Seto needs to be shown who is boss. If he wants to run Kaiba Corp one day, he needs to show no pain. No let-down on what he is doing." Jou said calmly.

That's when I reacted. I slapped Jou across the face, that being all that I could do. Jou's eyes opened wide. I could see the anger rise in his eyes. "You…" he muttered.

I cut him off. "That's no way to show him how to act. How dare you try to change him!" I growled, trying to get away from his strong hold.

Jou's anger disappeared as he grinned. "This is why you’re my favorite. You act shy but then you've got that temper within you." Jou whispered.

I looked at him sharply. "Put me down. And I swear if you touch my brothers again. I will…"

He stops me. "It’s late. Let me fix your wound, and then you can yell at me later." Jou said as he carried me into the bathroom.

"I said put me down." I muttered.

Jou shook his head. "You can go back to your room after that wound is fixed. Now, take off your clothes and get in the bathtub. It needs to be cleaned out." Jou said turning on the water.

I slowly watched him. I listened to him, not wanting to get him mad again. Jou didn’t watch me, he kept testing the water instead. "Ok, the water is ready. Get in," he said gently looking up.

I slowly sighed and got in the water. It did feel nice. I relaxed a bit and closed my eyes, enjoying the warm water. My eyes reopened when I felt a cloth on my back. I looked up to find Jou cleaning my back. I gently relaxed again. Jou gently ran the cloth over my wound, then started to move it over my shoulders and neck. I loosened up a little as he ran the cloth over my chest. I jerked when the cloth ran over my manhood, then my adorned, then back down again. My eyes widened as I looked at him. Jou didn’t say a thing, not even looking at my eyes. He just continued to run the cloth over my body, but mostly over a part no one had ever touched.

When the door opened, May looked in. "Jou Kaiba! What have you done to my boys?" She yelled, holding up the whip. She froze, seeing me. "Get away from Ka" she yelled.

Jou sighed and stood. "Ka, get dressed, and get in bed." Jou whispered to me.

I gently stood and grabbed my clothes, throwing them on. Jou had quickly bandaged my back. I quickly stepped outside, into the hall, then ran for my room. I jumpped on my bed and hid under my covers. ‘What the hell was he doing to me?’ I yelped in my head. ‘What have we gotten our selves into?’ I thought as I fell asleep.

May looked at Jou. "Jou, I love you and I don’t want to turn you in. But, if you keep this up, and hurt or touch them again, I will turn you in and not care anymore." May yelled.

Jou growled. "You listen to me, May. I can do what I want with them. Seto needed the beating, and Ka needed a little relaxing." Jou growled.

May started to cry. "Jou, I love you so much. Please, don’t lose what we’ve always had." May cried.

Jou gently took her in his arms and held her. "I love you too," he whispered.

I yawed loudly as I walked downstairs the next day, only to find nobody home but May.

"Where is everybody?" I asked.

"Jou's at work, and Seto and Mokuba went for ice cream. They would have waken you, but I told them I wanted to take you with me. You're into that new game, Duel Monsters, right?" she asked. I slowly nodded. "Well, there is a big game downtown. You want to go?" she asked.

I quietly looked at her. Seto wasn't into games much, and Mokuba mostly just liked to look at the cards, so I never got to duel. "I would love to go with you." I said quickly and I ran upstairs to get ready. I looked though my things, finding my deck. I didn’t have any real strong cards, but that didn't mean I wasn't good. It's not always power that wins. It was believing in the cards, and yourself.

I raced downstairs and happily waited for May to get her keys. "Ok, kiddo, let's go." May said, happily getting in the car. She could have just called for the limo, but she just wanted to have a normal family outing. "After this, we'll get Seto and Mokuba and all go to the festival." May said happily.

I gently smiled. "That'll be great. Is Jou coming?" I asked, my smile fading.

May shook her head. "Nope. Just me and my boys." she said gently. I happily smiled again.

NOTE: Ever wonder where Seto got his first dragon? Well, you’ll see who had it first.

I quickly looked around. There were all kinds of Duel Monsters things going on. "Wow..." I whispered.

May smiled. "What do you want to do first?" she asked.

"New cards... I could use some." I said gently. May nodded as I pulled her over to a table and looked over the cards. I froze when I heard the name Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Then I bumped into someone.

The kid looked up. His hair was wild and it was a pink with black. His bang were blond. "Oops... Sorry" I whispered.

The kid smiled. "It’s ok." he said simply.

"I guess hearing the name Blue-Eyes White Dragon made me forget where I was going." I said gently.

He gently laughed. "Yeah. They're giving it away to the first person that can beat Nick Wit." he said gently. He looked younger then he was.

"I’m Ka Catma." I said gently, not wanting to make me sound all great, being one of the Kaiba family.

"I’m Yugi Moto. Nice to meet you." he said gently.

"Yeah, likewise." I said, gently shaking his hand.

We had a little bit of talking and watching the duels between other kids and Nick Wit, who would get the Blue-Eyes, if he stayed at the top. I gently looked at Yugi. "I think I’m going to give it a try." I said gently.

Yugi nodded. "Good luck, then." Yugi said gently. I nodded and stepped up to the duel table. I may not have strong cards, but I was good with my Trap and Magic cards. It was one of the longest duels that day, being that I knew how to keep my monsters safe. But, of course, so did he. It was over when got a powerful card called Mirror Force. That destroyed his monster on the field. I won the match. I couldn’t believe I was going home with my new Blue-Eyes White Dragon in my hands.

But, it was a little sad not finding Yugi. May said that he ran out in tears after someone told him something. Later, I found out his parents had been killed in a car wreck. I felt sorry for him and knew how he felt. I never did see him again.

****

May and I pulled up to find Seto and Mokuba waiting outside. "Hey, guys." I stopped, seeing something was wrong. "What's wrong?" I asked, my happiness disappearing.

"Mokuba fell and cut his hand." Seto whispered holding the little boy. I gently looked at Mokuba, who's eyes were red from crying.

"Ka" he whimpered, reaching for me. He did that when he was crying. He would go back and forth between me and Seto.

I gently took him in my arms. "You ok, small fly?" I asked, holding him.

"Yes." he whimpered.

"Come on. We're going to a festival. You think you’ll live?" I asked, getting him to smile.

Seto smiled gently, seeing Mokuba cheer up. "Have fun at your Duel Monsters thing?" Seto asked as he stood.

"Yep. I won the strongest card that doesn’t take five part to win with." I said happily.

"Blue-Eyes White Dragon." Mokuba said, looking up.

"Yep. When you learn about that card?" I asked as we got in the car. I sat in the back, so Mokuba could rest against my shoulder.

"I looked though your cards. And my friends like Duel Monsters, so were telling me about that card, and how there are only four of them." Mokuba said as I got the card out.

I gently looked up at Seto, then thought of something. "Hey, Seto, to help get your mind off things, why not try Duel Monsters? Here." I said, handing him my cards. He needed something to lean on.

Seto quietly looked at the cards, seeing even the Blue-Eyes was in there. "But, Ka, your Blue-Eyes..." he whispered.

I shook my head. "I can restart my deck. You need to add a lot of things. Just believe in the heart of the cards, and let it believe in you." I said gently. Seto nodded, smiling. ‘Hey, I got a smile out of him.’ I thought quietly. We all enjoyed ourselves at the festival.

After some time at the festival, things darkened when Jou's guards came looking for us. Jou hadn't been happy to come home to an empty house. We went home, still enjoying ourselves. May wasn’t letting us get down.

For some reason, Seto and Mokuba stayed in my room that. I stayed up, listening to May and Jou. They fought and calmed down. From the sounds of their calming down, I take it Jou was calming her with making love. I rolled my eyes. ‘Is this how it is always going to end? Someone would have to give in to Jou's pleasure to calm him down?’ I thought as I fell asleep.

NOTE: In a way, you can see why Mokuba and Seto don’t like the whole 'Believe in the heart of the cards.' Well, I hope you like. Please review, and tell me if this is going anywhere.
