Shonen Jump: For the novices or newbies to the anime and manga scene, Shonen Jump is God of Manga. Dubbed "The World's Most Popular Manga", Shonen is an anthlogy of the world's finest, including DBZ and Yu-Gi-Oh. Thanks to my friend Diktator I got a subsciption card and am now the proud owner of the 1st and 3rd issue (thanks to the new baka management I didn't get #2, damn them). So now, thanks to my poll, I'm gonna start the info on your favorite anime... YU-GI-OH! (Note- I'm gonna sumarize and/or directly quote Shonen! Doan worry I'll give credit where it's due! No sue!)
Yu-Gi-Oh:"Yu-Gi-Oh (Japanese for King of Games or Game King) first appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump (in Japan only) in 1996, created, written, and drawn by Kazuki Takahashi. Takahashi's story of friendship, Egyptian magic, and weird, shocking games soon became a hit, and was adapted into a collectible card game, video games, and anime. Today, there are 29 volumes of Yu-Gi-Oh manga in Japan, and the series is still going strong!" -Shonen Jump
Characters:
Yugi Mutou- A kind hearted boy who's possesed by the Millenium Puzzle (in manga he doesn't remember what happens when this happens). His grandfather owns a game store. Name means"to play".
Katsuya Jonouchi- "Joey Wheeler" in anime. Yugi's classmate and good friend.
Hiroto Honda- "Tristan Taylor" in anime. Joey's friend, Yugi and Joey's classmate. Name means "rice paddy".
Anzu Mazaki- "Tea Gardner" in anime. Yugi's childhood friend and classmate, whom in the manga he seems to have a crush on. Name means "Apricot".

Lupin the 3rd- OMG! This is a must see anime peeps! It's the story about Lupin III, the world's most daring theif. He goes on heists, attempts to get his girlfriend, Fujiko, to sleep with him, and is on the run from the Interpol Inspector Zenigata! Along with Lupin are his partners, Jigen and Goemon, who are the best help a thief can ask for. This has comedy, romance, and action, rolled into a great package! It comes on Carttoon Network's Adult Swim Monday-Thursday. Trust me, it may be old, but it's some good stuff!
